✅ Bravecto

You can find them⤵️

⁉️❣️HOW IS DEMODICOSIS ACTUALLY TREATED?

The good news: demodicosis is much easier to treat today than it used to be.
The most effective medications are modern anti-mite tablets:
💊 Bravecto💊 NexGard💊 Simparica

They work systemically, killing the mites that cause demodicosis.
Typically, a course of treatment is required:
- 1 tablet once a month or every 3 months (depending on the medication)
- plus supportive care
- sometimes antibiotics if skin infections are present.

❗ Important: The dosage depends on the dog's weight. It's best to consult with a veterinarian or volunteers.

But the truth is, sometimes one pill changes everything: after a few weeks, the fur begins to grow back, the itching subsides, and the dog recovers.
There are hundreds of such animals in Fukuoka. And many could have recovered.

MIMI AT HOME🐻 A SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION

That's exactly what the little girl was named by her new family.

According to her owner Anh Phuong she considered many names, but the little one only responded to one – Mimi.

This is one of those cases where the photos say it all without words.
Mimi walking by the sea,
Mimi sleeping in bed,
Mimi next to a person – calmly and trustingly.

“We have our own hotel on Phu Quoc Island, and Mimi is the receptionist”, jokes the dog's owner. So, anyone who wants to can drop by and visit the little one🛎️

She wasn't just adopted. She was adopted into the family🤍
And it seems she definitely feels it✨

⚠️DEMODICOSIS IN PHU QUOC

A huge problem that's important to talk about‼️

Guys, I want to start a series of posts about one of the island's most painful and widespread problems – demodicosis.
If you walk around Phu Quoc, you've probably seen dogs (and sometimes cats) with bald spots, bald patches, inflamed skin, and hideous spots on their faces, paws, and backs.

People often think:
➡️ It must be ringworm
➡️ It's contagious
➡️ It can't be cured

But in many cases, it's actually demodicosis, a disease that has literally become a scourge here.

Demodicosis is a skin disease caused by parasites (mites) that live in the animal's skin.
In healthy dogs, the immune system keeps the parasites under control, but in stray, weakened, or hungry dogs, the condition can get out of control. The disease begins to «eat» the animal from the inside.

Demodicosis is treatable. Not quickly, but it is treatable. With pills. Medications. Systemic care.

But no one does that on the streets.
And the dogs simply suffer slowly for months, sometimes years, because there's no one to help them. The most severe case we encountered on the island was Django, who didn't receive timely help, and demodicosis ultimately consumed this handsome fellow from the inside💔💔

I want to tell you more about this: how to recognize demodicosis, what can be done, which medications work, and how a tourist or local can really help an animal, even without a rescue «inside the house».

Because sometimes just one pill is a chance.
And one attentive person is a lifesaver🙏

More coming soon🐶

WE'RE LOOKING FOR A HOME FOR JOHN🐾

Guys, we really need a responsible person🙏🍀

For a young dog (he's only 11 months old) named John. He currently lives on a leash – and unfortunately, this is a necessary measure.
When he was a little puppy and ran around with other dogs, everything was more or less calm.
But John grew up.
He became tall, strong, with a clear leadership character. A true leader.

And dogs like these can't just "run around the yard on their own." They absolutely need education, training, and human contact. They need to be part of a family, a pack, a team.
Ideally, they have the potential to be a service dog.

Yulia told me John's story.
A Vietnamese neighbor once took him and his little girl in, without realizing that a dog needs training. She has cats, rabbits, chickens... and at some point, there were seven dogs in her yard, including newborn puppies.
John reacts to chickens; sometimes a pack of dogs would sn**ch a chick.
And he got the worst of it – being the largest.
As punishment, he was put on a metal chain. He struggled, choked, and his neck was pinched...
This isn't the best life for a young, strong dog.

In early January, an incident occurred: John and the other dogs ran out and accidentally knocked down their elderly owner, who fell and injured his leg.
After this, a scandal erupted, and demands were made to immediately remove all the animals from the yard.
John found himself in real danger💔💔
If Yulia hadn't intervened, things could have ended badly.

Now she's taken the boy under her wing and is ready to work with him, but her goal is to find John a home. He needs a family.
Not a chain. Not an unsupervised yard. And a person who sees him not as a "problem," but as a strong, intelligent dog with enormous potential.

If you live in Phu Quoc or know someone looking for a young, serious friend, please write 🙏🙏
John really needs a chance.

✨OUR PRECIOUS BOY✨

The other day, Alla shared with us greetings from Anrisha again, their walks through snowy Moscow, filled with so much simple happiness❤️

Today, this post is about Anrisha, about how far love can take us.

When we first met Anrisha, he was the smallest, the sickest, the most fragile of all. We had to nurse him longer than the others, treat him longer, and worry about him more. He was tiny and shy, as if constantly apologizing for his very existence.

Then came the first departure, a temporary stay at HighDogtor, life at DogVille, a second poisoning, the Ms.Chin shelter in Rach Gia, two weeks in Nha Trang with Katya and Sasha's family, side by side with his brother, Apri, then Moscow🛫
And two rejections. Two families that couldn't become a home for him.
And in each of these moments, there were so many questions and doubts – what if he never finds his people?! What then?

But Henri was lucky – even if it took a while, he found them. On his third try. For real!

Today, Henri is a brutally handsome man. Confident, calm, strong.
Because he is loved. Because he is in good hands.
Because there is a person by his side who sees him not as a difficulty or a responsibility, but as a treasure.

Sometimes dogs just need to reach their people. And then they blossom so much that it's impossible to believe how fragile they once were🙏🏻

COOPER IS WAITING FOR YOU🐾

I've already told you about Cooper. Time has passed, and there's still been no response. Not a single one. And he's still waiting...💔

Cooper was a small, wary puppy when he was taken from the street, unsure if this world was safe.

Today, the little one is cheerful, playful, and incredibly social. He runs around joyfully, plays with another puppy, and enjoys people and life.
The journey he's been through is simply incredible.
Now, Cooper is absolutely ready for a family: healthy, without pitfalls, without fears, without aggression, without problems.
He's open to the world, he wants to be close, he wants to love and be loved.

And we really want to find him not just "just a home," but people. Warm and caring people. Who will make Cooper part of their family, their life, their everyday life.

If you look at these photos and something inside you resonates, write. If not you, then maybe one of your friends is looking for just such a dog.
Help Cooper find his people💛🪄
He's ready.
All that's left is for him to finally be noticed.

➡️Please help spread this post – maybe it will help make a pre-New Year's miracle happen🎄🎉
