So now my personal photographer has disappeared unfortunately you are left with my less than perfect photos. However it is hard to manage 21 children (because Phục is with his carer normally I don’t get him often).
However Hieu got ahold of my phone and had a go at being a photographer ( she didn’t do too bad, a little cropping bring them up great). So this is my last night and hopefully I will see Thuy before I leave. Hopefully she’ll be back tonight.
There are also some photos of Ian leaving with Janny Hằng, who came up for the night and the carers are in these photos minus Thuy (the manager).

We finally gave the boys their soccer things, new boots, socks and clothing so they can play as a team. I think they are going to put a team name on the back of their shirts.
Thank you to all the people who gave me money to pay for this. Unfortunately we are missing one boy but he will be back on Tuesday when he will get his soccer equipment.
Shirley Turner, Roslyn, my mother Ellen Crook, Bincy, Alex, Jess, Sheeba, Merilyn, Annie, Michael and Liz, Ashika, Tincy, Kylie and Candice. Your money helped pay for the bikes, the soccer clothes and shoes and the rest will be spent for school fees and school things.

What a whirlwind it has been. Spent a day shopping with my wonderful friends Janny Hằng and Hang Nguyen buying everything.
8 bikes, bike chains, pedals and extras. 11 pairs of soccer shoes and the accompanying clothing to go with it for the boys to play soccer when they go to school and apparently they will make up a team themselves to play others lol. I also bought lots of pool things, beach balls, rings and float things and of course the odd toys.
Arrived in a truck and the kids went crazy. The boys couldn’t believe I bought so many bikes for the girls, but they helped me unwrap them and of course I had to do some bike maintenance on the other bikes.
We have had several swims using the beach balls and rings, they are amazing in the water.
We went for our first walk/ bike ride this morning. Me and 19 children. What could go wrong!!!
I’m having an amazing time, it’s like I never left 😍
I would like to thank all the amazing people who gave me money to help the children. The rest of the money will be going towards buying school supplies which will start when I leave.

Monday saw us off to the beach for a second time taking the younger group. So much easier with 7 children and 5 adults plus the driver.
We did a pit stop to pick up some sweets, ice and esky.
Lots more playing in the sand and on the swings but several of the girls were floating on their backs kicking and gently moving their arms in the water. Thanh and Ruia were the best.
Unfortunately Phương didn’t but that’s ok because he loved the sand and when I bought ice creams they were beside themselves. An all round amazing day.
Thank you Mark, Cathy, Phil and Dawn for making it possible. You can’t do these things alone.

We’ve had an amazing time. Had the world’s largest day today. 5 of us took 15 children to the beach. Sorry that didn’t include the driver and Huyền Pun. We went to Dai Lạnh a private area that has shaded area’s a playground and eating facilities. We secured a shaded area and off to the waves we went. In the water for 90 minutes. By the time we finished some of the children were comfortably floating on their backs and it was very hard to get them out.
After a corneto each (a real treat) we went to the playground for a while before we came home. The “bus” was so noisy on the way, but on the way home it was as silent as a temple. Some even fell asleep. After a 3 hr nap instead of 2 we have done pasta necklaces and bracelets and of course back in the pools this afternoon. What a fabulous time that I certainly couldn’t do alone with Mark, Cathy, Phil and Dawn being here and of course Pun who is always amazing.

I’m at the Orphange and having lots of fun!! It’s not as hot and I have people here helping, so much easier!!!
We have made play dough, done swimming and bubbles and the friends are helping me clean out the room. The most fantastic thing is someone is here fixing all the bikes.
Before I came here I went shopping with money my sister, Kiearah Rae-Crook and Mark Barron and Karen Barron gave me as well as some of my own. I bought a toy for everyone. The boys got trucks that were able to be pulled apart and put together and the girls got makeup kits. The oldest girl got a big pencil set and colouring books. Everyone got hats. (I couldn’t believe we could get 15 Spider-Man caps!!!). They loved it. There was silence as the kids all played it was amazing.

Today was very humid and hot. No school this morning being Sunday.
We started early with bikes, play dough and painting in the afternoon after a bit of popcorn.
It started raining but I still got out the pools. The kids were puzzled and said it was raining, no swimming but I said no problem we will get wet anyway.
I filled the pools up and played a human sprinkler. Bought out the bubble wands and we all had a hilarious time with the carers laughing and videoing us. Was a great day. Of course there was costumes ( Jen Stark thank you once again) and maybe some balloon fights 😜😜.
I think we are all going to sleep well 🥰.
