Hoian Mates is a non – profit organization run by local students in Danang and Hoian through local tours and It was formed in 17th December, 2015 with a big desire to create a friendly environment to practice English, get experience and give them personal development. Hence, your attendance in student tours will encourage us to support local community and give students good chances to learn and progress. Huge thanks to our energetic, beer-loving crew of 10 from Australia! 🇦🇺 We had a blast sharing the crunch of Banh My, the history of the Heritage Museum, and the magic of releasing lanterns on the river.

A standout moment was visiting Aurient Gold Jewelry Studio. We were obsessed with the Bé Tí collection—the tiny gold charms of iconic street speakers, duck boats, and plastic chairs are pure Vietnamese soul!

Did you know? Exactly 10 years ago today—on December 17, 2015— together with a simple dream: to share the hidden beauty of Hoi An with the world.

We believe that no meeting is accidental. Over the last decade, Hoian Mates has grown from a little passion project into a family of storytellers. We haven't just shown our friends about Vietnamese culture; we’ve shared our childhood stories and our hearts.

💛 And to our lovely friends, who have memories in Vietnam with us—whether under the golden sun or the sudden tropical rains—thank you. You didn't just book a tour; you gave us the chance to practice our English, to feel proud of our hometown, and to turn strangers into lifelong Mates.
