The Journey to Conquering Dreams😍👏🏻

We started sponsoring this beautiful young lady since she was a year 8 student. After 10 years of sponsorship, today we are so very happy and proud that she has now fully completed her education pathway and graduated from her university with excellent results👏🏻👍🏻

It was a challenging journey from middle school to high school and then university. She has always strived to study hard, enthusiastically participated in volunteer activities, social work and sports activities at school/university and in her class, and has achieved outstanding results every year. Having received commendations from the university❤️

On the occasion of her university graduation recently, she had the honor of representing all graduating students of the 2026 cohort and delivered a graduation speech in front of hundreds of students. This is the greatest privilege that not every student can achieve in their youth👏🏻❤️

We are truly happy and proud that she has now graduated. A bright future awaits her. We wish her good health, luck, and success in her future career.
CHIA always loves you, our beautiful clever pride!❤️👌🏻

We thank you, Ms Denise Molintas for sponsoring Hoa during the many years, so that she could pursue her educational dream🙏🏻❤️
P/s: pictures taken every year of her from year 8 until now, showing how she has matured over the years 💙🩵💜

Thank you an anonymous for his donation of this beautiful bike 🚲for CHIA.
If you have any spare items such as Laptops, bikes, motor bikes, fridges, TV or any other items that you no longer use, but still in good condition, we would really love to receive them and be assured that we will send them to the needy ones and they will certainly make good use of them🙏🙏🙏
Much love from all of us at CHIA❤❤❤

We visited our Yen and Khanh at their family home with our sponsors recently😍 We were so very happy that the girls are doing great at school👏🏻 Yen has just completed high school. Even though her school results are good, she has decided not to continue and go on to tertiary education. She decided to choose a quicker way of furthering her education, by way of vocational training. She said with this training it will take her less time to complete and she can quickly graduate and find a job to help her mother and younger sister❤️

We say “thank you”❤️🙏🏻 to our sponsors, Mr & Mrs Grimes, for their support for this family. We are more than grateful that they, along with their children, came with us to visit their sponsored family and to learn about their difficult lives in the rural area😍❤️

Much love from our CHIA team!💙🩵💜

Four weeks of placement with the OT students from Australian Catholic University has gone so very quickly. We have had to say goodbye to them.
CHIA says a huge “thank you” for all of your hard work and support of our disability program🙏🏻❤️ Your visits provide great benefits to our staff and children and we appreciate your ongoing enthusiasm and dedication to our program and its kids😍🫶🏻

We are so very grateful and really look forward to our continued partnership with ACU in the coming years🙏🏻🤝🏻

Many thanks 🙏🏻❤️to Ms Ailsa and her four ACU OT students for making a custom-made chair with postural support for Ro, one of the children with special needs at CHIA.

Ro has an old special chair but it is now too small for him, so it is amazing that Ailsa and the students could make this new chair for him during their placement at CHIA this time👏🏻🙏🏻
From Ro's beautiful smile, we can see he is very happy and comfortable sitting in his new chair 😍❤️

Much love from our CHIA team! 💙🩵💜

Thanks to a generous donation from Thrive Lifecare in Tasmania, Australia, our visiting OT and students from ACU spent today fitting up and trialing a new Firefly GoTo Seat with one of our children. 😍🙏🏻

Finding the right sitting position can make a big difference. When children feel well supported, they can spend less energy trying to stay upright and more energy doing the things they want and need to do.

For this young man, the extra support makes it easier to focus on activities like playing with toys, eating more independently, drawing & looking at books, and joining in with table activities.

Occupational Therapy not only helps achieve good sitting - it's about creating opportunities to learn new skills, participate with others, and enjoy everyday activities with greater confidence👏🏻❤️

We loved seeing his smiles as he explored what he could do with the help of his new seat❤️

Much love from our CHIA team! 💙🩵💜

Learning through play.

Everyday the OTs offer a group activity, helping the children build fine motor skills while connecting with each other through shared play. As they create, chat, take turns, and show one another their creations they are developing confidence, friendships, and everyday motor skills - all while having fun!😍🤗👏🏻

Much love 💙🩵💜
