Would you fly in a seat where you couldn't even move your arms? 🛩

That’s life for millions of hens in battery cages, confined to spaces smaller than an A4 sheet of paper 🐔💔

Change is possible. LATAM Airlines already uses cage-free eggs in places like Europe. So why not bring that commitment to Latin America, too?

To bring this to light, activists from Sinergia Animal and many local and international NGOs joined Anima Naturalis at El Dorado Airport in Bogotá Aeropuerto El Dorado

We made our voices heard at the airport, and before security asked us to leave, we spoke with dozens of travelers and airline staff about the reality of hens in battery cages and why LATAM needs to act.

📢 YOUR VOICES CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Sign the petition and demand a cage-free commitment from LATAM.

The real horror is what happens behind the food we eat.

And most of us never see it 💔

This October, we’re uncovering what the industry hides.

🥚Today is World Egg Day.

But she doesn’t know that. And neither do the millions of laying hens around the world whose eggs are being celebrated.

Behind this everyday food, millions of hens live in systems that prevent them from expressing natural behaviours: walking freely, building nests, dust bathing or fully stretching their wings.

Have you ever stopped to think that behind every egg are millions of individual lives?

For a full week, activists in São Paulo Sinergia Animal Brasil have been at the door of McCain’s office, calling the company to extend its global cage-free commitments to Brazil.

McCain has committed to go cage-free globally. But Brazil has been left out of these commitments despite being one of the world’s largest food markets.

And we’re not the only ones asking why.

769 McCain employees in Brazil have also joined the call for answers. They want the company to explain why Brazil is excluded from McCain's global commitment.

Global commitments should mean global action.

If McCain is serious about improving animal welfare, Brazil cannot be left behind.

So, McCain Brasil 🍟 where’s the plan?

What does it actually take to create change for animals? 🐷🐔🐄

The animal protection movement has been shaped by people who started small, made mistakes, faced resistance, built communities, and kept going.

Fighting for Farmed Animals: Campaigning on the Shoulders of Giants brings together first-hand accounts from 25 leaders who have spent years working to create change for farmed animals around the world.

Their stories offer lessons on taking risks, adapting when things don’t go to plan, building a movement, and staying committed to the animals who need us.

Change for animals starts with action 💜

Argentina 🇦🇷 took important steps toward a cage-free future with 3 new cage-free commitments 🥳

🥚 Atomo Supermercados — 118 stores
🥚 Tadicor Córdoba — 3 stores
🥚 Universo Vigil Sostenibilidad Corporativa Universo Vigil — 18 stores + 9 own brands

These three commitments are part of a bigger movement, and there is still much more to do.

Food doesn’t begin at the supermarket.

Behind every product on the shelf is a living animal and a system that determines how they are bred, raised, transported and killed.

We don’t always see what happens before food reaches our plates.

But millions of farmed animals live and die within these systems.

What do you see when you look at your food?
