Habitat for Humanity Vietnam (Habitat Vietnam) is a non-governmental organization that specializes in Housing, water and sanitation solutions through micro-finance services. Habitat for Humanity Vietnam mobilizes resources (construction materials, labour and financing) to build or repair houses with economically marginalized households who are willing to partner by physically participating in the

construction and paying towards the cost, typically through a micro-finance mechanism. The micro-loan repayments go into a revolving fund from which additional beneficiary households can access financing to build or improve their home. HabitatVietnam projects normally include a mix of new houses, renovations, repairs and water and sanitation facilities, according to need. Since its establishment in 2001, Habitat Vietnam has supported over 61,000 families with simple and affordable homes; and nearly 245,000 individuals with technical training.
