RAD7 - Rescue Animals in District 7 RAD7 is a 100% volunteer-run dog and cat rescue in District 7, Saigon. We have no shelter, so we can only take in animals when we have fosters available.

Every donation goes directly to the animals in our care — food, vet bills, and finding forever homes.

🐾 Meet Spirit! 🐾

This sweet girl has been roaming the streets of D7 (Nine South), getting by on the kindness of neighbors who feed her, but with rainy season here, she urgently needs a safe, dry place to call home. 🌧️

Spirit’s a free spirit at heart (hence the name!), independent and a little shy.

She’s also in real danger: some residents in the area have been complaining to the police about her and we’re worried about what could happen if she’s left out there much longer. 🚨

Spirit doesn’t have much time. Can you open your heart (and home) to her while we find her forever family?

Vera and Echo do not disappear all day and only appear at mealtime.

They follow you around the house.

They greet you at the door.

They sit beside you while you work.

They want to hear about your day—and Echo may tell you about his.

Vera will lean against you, make muffins and climb under the covers. Echo will ask you to play, investigate everything and proudly patrol the highest points in the room.

They are affectionate companions who genuinely enjoy being part of everyday family life.

PLEASE LET THIS BE THEIR LAST MOVE

Vera and Echo have been loved in every foster home they have entered.

But temporary love still means eventually packing up and leaving.

They have done this approximately six times.

They are now facing another move, and we are asking our community to help us write a different ending.

One where Vera has the same bed to burrow under every night.

One where Echo knows which high shelf belongs to him.

One where they greet the same person at the same door.

One where “foster home” becomes simply home.

Vera and Echo are affectionate, playful, clean, house-trained, dog-friendly with proper introductions and deeply bonded.

Urgent foster needed. Permanent adoption preferred. They must remain together.

THEY ARE NOT JUST TWO CATS. THEY ARE EACH OTHER’S FAMILY.

Vera is Echo’s mother, companion, comfort and home.

They sleep together, groom each other, play together and adjust to every new environment side by side. After almost five years and several foster homes, their bond has helped them feel safe through every transition.

For that reason, Vera and Echo must be fostered or adopted together.

Separating them may appear easier for humans, but it would take away the one constant they have always had: each other.

The good news is that they are remarkably easy as a pair. They share resources peacefully, keep each other company and fit naturally into household life.

Please help us find one home for two hearts.

FIVE YEARS. SIX FOSTER HOMES. STILL WAITING TO BELONG.

Vera and Echo have been with RAD7 for almost five years.

They have adjusted to approximately six different foster homes. Every time, they learn a new space, a new routine and a new person. They continue to trust, love and greet people with affection.

But they should not have to keep starting over.

Their current foster arrangement is ending, and they urgently need somewhere safe to go. A foster home would protect them from immediate displacement. A permanent home would change their entire lives.

These are not difficult cats. They are affectionate, clean, playful, house-trained and deeply bonded.

They do not need perfection.

They need stability.

Please foster, adopt or share Vera and Echo’s story.

✔ Entertain each other when you are busy
