German Business Association - GBA

German Business Association - GBA ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Empowering the German Business Community ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ‡ณ For over 28 years, GBA has been the focal point of German business life, culture, and values in Vietnam.

GBA โ€“ the GERMAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION โ€“ has been one of the first foreign business associations in Vietnam, starting its activities already back in 1995. It has helped German businesses in developing their operations, has advised on a wide range of topics, and created opportunities for business and social exchange across Vietnam. Today, GBA has over 350 members, a reflection of the opportunities and dynamics of the Vietnamese market. It is one of the largest foreign business associations in Vietnam and a highly respected counterpart in the local community. In addition, GBA was one of the founding members of EuroCham Vietnam, a partnership that represents the pan-European activities and interests in Vietnam. A GBA membership automatically goes along with EuroCham membership and strengthens our ties with the other European business communities. For more information about GBA membership, please contact Ms. Tuyet Mai, Membership Manager at (84-28) 3823 9772 - Ext. 113 or email to [email protected]

๐ŸŽ™ Episode 04 explores insights from our September Monthly Business Meeting, โ€œFrom AI to Humanoid Robotics,โ€ featuring reflections from Mr. Tuan VI โ€“ GBA Vice-Chairman & Vice President SCM & Logistics Asia Pacific at Schaeffler, who chaired the discussion.

The discussion highlighted three key perspectives:
๐Ÿ‘‰ AI is already delivering practical business value. Automation can reduce manual processes, improve accuracy, and provide greater visibility across operations.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Physical AI is bringing intelligence into the real world. Robots are increasingly able to perceive, learn, interact, and perform complex tasks in dynamic environments.
๐Ÿ‘‰ The real opportunity lies in deployment, not demonstration. For businesses, the value of humanoid robotics will ultimately depend on where it can solve real problems, improve operations, and generate measurable impact.

๐Ÿ“– Watch Episode 04 below for the full insights and discover what the next evolution of AI could mean for businesses in Vietnam.

๐Ÿ”” Stay connected with the German Business Association for more perspectives shaping the future of business in Vietnam.

๐ŸŽฏ On 16 September 2026, GBA welcomed around 200 business professionals to the GBA Business Solutions Showcase โ€“ an afternoon designed to connect real business needs with practical expertise and the right partners.

We were pleased to welcome GBA Board Members Mr. Michael Wekezer, Mr. Daniel Henn, GBA Eurocham's Delegate Mr. Andrรฉ de Jong and GBA Treasurer Mr. Max Rummert, who joined our members, exhibitors, speakers and guests throughout the event.

๐Ÿ’ก With 16 exhibitor booths, 2 industry keynotes and 6 expert sharing sessions, the Showcase brought together expertise across legal, HR, banking, insurance, logistics, IT, tax, consulting and more. Participants had the opportunity to discover practical solutions, exchange ideas directly with experts and build new connections across the business community.

More than an exhibition, the GBA Business Showcase was about creating real conversations around real business challenges โ€“ and opening doors to new partnerships and collaboration.

๐Ÿค The networking continued into the evening at GBA hashtag HCMC, with the participation of GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe, where participants could reconnect, continue conversations, and expand their networks in a more relaxed atmosphere.

๐Ÿ‘ A big thank you to our speakers, exhibitors, partners, and around 200 participants for making the GBA Business Solutions Showcase & DeutschenTreff a vibrant and engaging gathering.
