✨ Saigon Toastmasters Club – Meeting #384 ✨
Theme: “Life Lessons”

Every experience leaves us with something—sometimes a beautiful memory, sometimes a difficult moment, and sometimes a lesson we only understand years later.

At our next meeting, we'll take a moment to reflect on the life lessons that shaped who we are today. 🌱

Come share a story, listen to someone else's journey, and perhaps discover a lesson you never expected to learn.

🎤 Whether you're here to speak, practice, connect, or simply listen—there's always something to take away from a Toastmasters meeting.

✨ Saigon Toastmasters Club – Meeting #383 Recap ✨
Theme: “Step Up – Stand Out”

What a meeting! 🎤🔥

We were thrilled to welcome more than 15 guests to Meeting #383! Thank you all for spending your Saturday with us, stepping into the room, joining the conversations, and most importantly—stepping up to the stage.

And to our wonderful guests: why not make the next step? 😉
Instead of being a guest again, become a member and make this journey your own!

🎤 Table Topics was on fire!

A big thank you to TM Payal for leading a fun and energetic Table Topics session. And then came the mysterious number “24”. 😂

After every question, we had a little interaction around the number 24… and honestly, we still have absolutely no idea what 24 means to Payal. 🤣

But that's exactly what made the session so much fun!

🌎 The highlight of the meeting

A huge thank you to our very own TM Irene Quoico, our club champion and World Championship of Public Speaking Semifinalist, for sharing her incredible journey with us.

It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime sharing session—a rare opportunity to hear what happens behind the scenes when someone takes their voice from a local Toastmasters stage all the way to the world stage.

Her story didn't just inspire us to become better speakers. It reminded us to dream bigger, prepare harder, and believe that we can go further than we think. ❤️

🏆 Congratulations to our Meeting #383 winners!

🥇 Best Table Topics: TM Mina
🎤 Best Prepared Speech: TM Hana
📝 Best Evaluator: TM Girija

Thank you to every member, guest, speaker, evaluator, and role taker who made Meeting #383 such a memorable one.

Step up. Stand out. And maybe next time, don't be a guest anymore. 😉

See you at the next meeting! 💙

🌎🎤 FROM SAIGON TO THE WORLD STAGE

What does it take to go from a Toastmasters stage in Vietnam to the World Championship of Public Speaking Semifinals?

Our very own TM Irene Quoico, member of Saigon Toastmasters Club and World Championship Semifinalist, is coming back to Meeting #383 for a special sharing session:

✨ JOURNEY TO THE WORLD STAGE ✨

Irene will take us behind the scenes of her journey—from preparation and competition to stepping onto one of the biggest public speaking stages in the world.

And yes, we'll have a Q&A session afterward! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Have questions about:
🎤 Preparing for a speech competition?
🏆 What it takes to compete at the highest level?
💡 How to improve your speech?
🧠 Handling pressure and confidence?
🌎 What it's really like on the World Championship stage?

Come ask her yourself.

This isn't just a speech to watch. It's an opportunity to learn directly from a champion and semifinalist who has been there.

📅 Saturday, 12 September 2026
🕜 1:45 PM – 4:30 PM
📍 224 Dien Bien Phu, HCMC – Room 501

🔥 Come. Learn. Ask. Get inspired.

Why fit in when you were born to stand out?

At Meeting #383, we're inviting you to step outside your comfort zone, raise your hand, share your voice, and embrace what makes you different. 🎤✨

Toastmasters is more than learning how to give a speech. It's about having the courage to step up, the confidence to stand out, and the community to support you along the way.

Whether you're an experienced speaker or stepping onto the stage for the first time, this is your chance to be heard.
