A few weeks ago, two talented Communications students from Swinburne University Vietnam – Huỳnh Ngọc Bảo Như and Nguyễn Phúc Nhã Khuê – captured the raw essence of our community for their course assignment. Tonight, we share their work to give them full credit and appreciation for their sharp cinematic vision.

This short documentary cuts straight to the core identity of the Saigon Chess Club. We have never been a traditional, academic chess federation. Under our mission , we use chess strictly as a catalyst for connection, turning intelligence into a distinct form of nightlife across the city's most hidden spaces.

Through Swinburne's lens, you will see that chess here is a dynamic lifestyle. It is a mental arena designed to sharpen focus and break the daily routine for active, growth-minded people. No matter your skill level, your seat in this community is always ready.
