The Green Growth Sector Committee - EuroCham(GGSC), in collaboration with IUCN Viet Nam, successfully hosted a webinar exploring how Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs) can support biodiversity conservation while creating long-term value for businesses operating in Viet Nam.

Our speakers shared practical insights on the IUCN Global Standard for NbS, the role of OECMs in advancing global biodiversity targets, and the growing opportunities for the private sector to integrate nature-positive approaches into business strategies.

A key takeaway from the discussion was that investing in nature is not only essential for biodiversity conservation but also strengthens business resilience, supports sustainable supply chains, enhances access to green finance, and creates long-term value.
