📝 A note for our community and for our fellow Impact Hubs!
You may have noticed that our Instagram account has disappeared.

Here is what happened:

🚫 On 15 July, Meta's automated systems disabled the account, flagging it for "impersonation", pretending to be or speak for someone else. The entity we were judged to be impersonating is the Impact Hub brand.

🌍 We are, of course, the official Impact Hub in Vietnam: a licensed Member Impact Hub of the global Impact Hub Network and Impact Hub Asia Pacific. The Impact Hub Association has since issued a signed confirmation confirming our membership, our authorization to use the Impact Hub name and identity, and the legitimacy of our Instagram account. It confirmed that no impersonation report was ever filed against us by anyone. There was no complainant. The finding came entirely from automated pattern-matching.

🤖 We believe the pattern was this: a brand-new account, carrying an established global brand name and logo. When our team completed the photo ID verification Instagram requested, the personal account was swept up in the same action. Both business and personal accounts are now disabled.

Instagram has since reinstated the personal account and confirmed in email that the decision was a mistake, however a lingering verification loop still blocks access.

⚠️ At no point has a human being reviewed either decision. Meta for Business' support is entirely automated: no appeal option on the account, no case reference number, no route to a person.

🏠 TO OUR FELLOW HUBS - especially newly opened locations:
This is worth knowing about. The pattern that triggered our flag (new account + established global brand) applies to every Hub launching its social channels for the first time. If any Hub has faced something similar and found a way through, we'd be very grateful to hear from you.

🙏 And if anyone in the network has a verified Meta Partner Manager contact, or works with an agency holding partner-level escalation access, please do get in touch. One human reviewer is genuinely all this needs. Our documentation is complete and ready.
