Grace's Cookies is a charitable program started in 2010 by a group of benevolent ladies pioneered by Ms. Margot Richart. The mechanism of the program is that the group of ladies would bake cookies (traditionally at their own cost as a sponsorship for the program) and send them to International schools for students there to sell and raise funds. All the funds raised will be contr

ibuted to VinaCapital Foundation's Heartbeat Vietnam program to provide heart surgeries for poor children with congenital heart defects. Since its inception, the program has contributed more than $82,000 and helped transform the lives of more than 100 children and their families across Vietnam. The program has been maintained and operated by groups of international ladies living and working in Vietnam. Since April 2021, International Ladies in Vietnam (ILV) has officially joined the cause and organized baking sessions to make cookies to provide for fundraising events.

Grace's Cookies là một chương trình từ thiện được bắt đầu từ năm 2010 do cô Margot Richart khởi xướng, với hình thức một nhóm phụ nữ cùng làm bánh quy (mọi chi phí do họ tự chi trả như một khoản tài trợ cho chương trình) và gửi chúng đến các trường Quốc tế để học sinh ở đó bán và gây quỹ. Toàn bộ số tiền gây quỹ được sẽ quyên góp cho chương trình Nhịp tim Việt Nam của VinaCapital Foundation, giúp hỗ trợ phẫu thuật cho trẻ em nghèo mắc bệnh tim bẩm sinh. Kể từ khi thành lập, chương trình đã đóng góp hơn 82.000 USD và giúp thay đổi cuộc sống của hơn 100 trẻ em và gia đình trên khắp Việt Nam. Chương trình được duy trì và vận hành bởi các nhóm những người phụ nữ nước ngoài đang sinh sống và làm việc tại Việt Nam. Kể từ tháng 4 năm 2021, Tổ chức Quý bà Quốc tế tại Việt Nam (International Ladies in Vietnam - ILV) chính thức tham gia hoạt động và tổ chức các buổi dạy làm bánh để cung cấp cho các sự kiện gây quỹ.

Like mothers, fathers play important roles in every child’s life that cannot be filled by others. Fathers always provide their children a feeling of security and have a large impact on children and help shape them into the person they become. During the past 16 years, at VinaCapital Foundation (VCF), our mission has been to empower all parents, including fathers and their kids by providing access to better medical care, education, and living conditions through our medical and educational programs.

On the occasion of Father's Day, VCF and Grace's Cookies would love to tribute and express our respect towards all the fathers out there for their sacrifices and hard work. Being a dad is an 'unpaid job', but it takes a lifetime, so, on this special day, let's motivate and express love to all fathers so they can have the vigor to fulfill a bright future for both their children and themselves. Every year on Children's Day, children from all over the country eagerly look forward to spending time with their parents, receiving gifts, and loving messages. However, many children still have struggled on Children's Day. In the hospital corridor, in the old rented house, in the remote areas, thousands of children and their families are still waiting for miracles to happen so they can reach their dreams. They wish to have healthy hearts, to go to school, and to have clean water to drink, etc.

VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) is trying our best in Vietnam's remote areas to help disadvantaged and underserved children transform their lives through our healthcare and education programs.

VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) is proud to announce that our organization has earned a 2022 Platinum Seal of Transparency on GuideStar! This is the highest level of recognition offered by the nonprofit analyst GuideStar, an organization that assesses and reports on the efficacy and transparency of US-based nonprofit organizations.

For four years in a row since 2019, we have earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar for being a nonprofit organization that is trusted by and fully transparent toward our sponsors, donors, and community.

CELEBRATE CONGENITAL HEART DEFECT AWARENESS WEEK 2022 WITH VINACAPITAL FOUNDATION AND HEARTBEAT VIETNAM

Every year, in addition to the joy of entering the New Year, the Heartbeat Vietnam team also looks forward to the Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week (February 7-14) to spread the message of hope and love.

According to statistics, each year in Vietnam, up to 16,000 babies are born with congenital heart defects. Half of them have critical heart problems that require timely treatment. However, the majority of these children live in rural areas, where their families struggle financially and lack access to quality healthcare.

As a program of VinaCapital Foundation, since 2006, Heartbeat Vietnam has provided life-saving heart surgeries for nearly 9,000 poor children across Vietnam, as well as free heart examination for nearly 250,000 children in remote areas who have not had the opportunity to access healthcare. The program has helped change lives and bring hope to the future of thousands of Vietnamese children and their families for more than 15 years our team has traveled all over the country.

On the occasion of Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week (February 7-14, 2022), let's join VCF and HBVN to spread knowledge and messages about congenital heart defects to the community. Let's each become a messenger and a bridge connecting the hearts so that more and more people know about congenital heart defects and join hands to help disadvantaged children have access to healthcare and help their little brave hearts come alive again.
