Within the framework of Robotics for Good Hanoi, a competition focused on applying robotics to real-world applications—particularly in agriculture—members of the Overwatch team participated in the event as referees. The competition serves not only as a technical challenge, but also as a platform for students to explore how robotics can be used to address practical, real-life problems.

In their roles, Overwatch members assisted with match supervision, field operations, and ensuring that all teams followed the competition rules. By working closely with both participants and the organizing committee, the team gained valuable insight into the organizational side of robotics competitions, as well as the importance of fairness and professionalism.

Beyond their technical responsibilities, Overwatch aimed to inspire and spread a passion for robotics among participating students. Through conversations, guidance, and hands-on support when needed, the team hoped to show that robotics is not distant or intimidating, but an accessible and creative field that students can genuinely pursue.

Through this experience, Overwatch not only strengthened its practical understanding of robotics competitions but also reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the wider robotics community. This marks a meaningful step in the team’s journey—not only in competition, but also in using robotics as a tool to create positive impact.
