We try our best to provide a playground for all English language enthusiasts, those who wish to adopt English as their second language. How we work:
- Indoor Meetings: We have a weekly meeting lasting 2 hours in a designated classroom during which we will practice English skills through activities such as discussing, debating, making presentations, conversations, analyzing song lyrics, movie lines
, improvising, ect. We also hold “Native’s Day” when you get to practice speaking to an English native speaker who might be from any corner of the world, and Workshops when we have Q&A meetings with English pros who might be Vietnamese teachers, high achievers in different English contests,...
- Outdoor Gatherings: We hold occasional outdoor gatherings to help you let your hair down while practicing the language. Common destinations are Hồ Gươm, Hồ Tây, Công viên Thống Nhất, We Escape,... where we play games that involves interviewing/talking to tourists, learning new words, or some other kinds of physical activities.
- Competitions: We participate or hold contests/competitions/webinars that highlights English skills. They might be singing in English, anchoring, acting, debating or discussing a topic in English,...
Your role in YEC:
You might be interested in being a part of one among 3 Departments which are The Mentors, The Marketers, and The Organizers. The Mentors give guidance to attendees in enhancing their English, The Marketers are in charge of Marketing activities, and The Organizers take responsibility for holding every meeting/event of YEC. We keep our arms wide open for anyone who have a passion for the English language and wish to take their English skills to the next level. Welcome to Youth English Club!!!
