💼 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗡𝗩 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺

SNV, a global development partner, is seeking a motivated undergraduate or postgraduate student based in Vietnam to support an exciting new study on climate change, agriculture, and markets. The role involves desk research, data synthesis, and light writing, and no specific technical knowledge is required. We are grateful to our current parent, Christie A. Getman, Country Director for SNV Vietnam for sharing this opportunity with our alumni community.

Details: Paid honorarium; approximately 5 days of total effort over 2–3 weeks (with potential for more).
Flexible hours and hybrid/remote options, with some time spent in the Hanoi or Saigon office.
Must be able to start immediately.

Calling all UNIS Hanoi Alumni! Got a skill or passion you love? Whether you’re a master chef, a fitness enthusiast, a language expert, or an artist, the Activities Office wants you!

We are now putting together our Community Programmes for the Autumn Session 2026 (Sept 7 – Nov 22). These classes and workshops give both children and adults a chance to learn something new. Because this is a programme by the community, for the community, we would love for our alumni to lead the way!

💙 "𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅!" ✨

We had some very special guests on campus during Graduation Week! 𝗣𝗵𝘂𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗶 (𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰), 𝗩𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗳𝗳 (𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱) stopped by to visit and shared a heartfelt reflection with us.

They admitted that during their own graduation weeks, everything moved so fast it felt like a blur (a wonderful blur, they emphasized!). But coming back this year as alumnae, they finally had the moment to pause, reflect, and truly realise the deep meaning behind "𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅, 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅".

UNIS Hanoi will always be home—and of course, they couldn't leave without striking a pose by the iconic blue wings! 💙

Last week, our Grade 11 and 12 students had an incredible opportunity to connect with Ambie Award-winning podcaster and playwright 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮 (𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟴)! 🏆🎭

Estelle returned to campus alongside their partner, Aaron Blanton, a Peabody Award-winning director and editor. Together, they shared invaluable firsthand insights about thriving in the New York City and global entertainment industries, building a creative career, and what it’s really like to study film at top-tier institutions like the University of Southern California (USC).

Last Saturday, 72 incredible graduates officially turned their tassels at UNIS Hanoi. They are now ready to spread their wings to every corner of the world, bringing fresh energy and talent to our global alumni network. 🌍✈️

Let’s celebrate their journey and take a look back at the beautiful moments from Graduation Eve—including the Grand Walk, the traditional tree planting (Hong Kong Orchid), the High School Senior Awards, and the warm Welcome Alumni Lunch. 🌳🌸🍱

"The school is much greener than it used to be 9 years ago!" 🌿

It was wonderful welcoming 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗞𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 (𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳) and his friend back to campus! Having spent 13 years as a student at UNIS Hanoi, Alan hadn't been back since his graduation and was surprised by how lush the campus has become.

After UNIS Hanoi, Alan went on to study Physics in the Netherlands and is now working in physics research, supporting critical radiation technology used to detect cancer. We are so proud of the incredible work you are doing, Alan! 🔬🎗️

Alan’s walk down memory lane actually started early this month, when he attended our UNIS Alumni Reunion in Amsterdam. He caught up with his former math teacher and many familiar faces, and promised us it definitely won't be his last reunion! 🇳🇱✨

𝟭𝟮 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀! 🏫❤️

When 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗲 (𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯) left UNIS Hanoi after Grade 4, he carried more than just textbooks with him. He carried lifelong connections.

Fast forward 12 years, and Bill is back! It was a truly emotional "full-circle" moment as he reunited with his favorite Kindergarten and Elementary teachers. Having stayed in touch with Ms Hoa on Facebook all these years, Bill proved that once you’re part of the UNIS family, you’re always family.

Bill is now a tech professional working for a global firm in Poland, but he’s still found time to give back. He’s offering career guidance to any UNIS students looking to break into his field of expertise: Artificial Intelligence 🤖💻

Following the incredible impact of last year’s event, we’re delighted to welcome the Hanoi Voices Choir back to campus for a special evening of music and purpose.
This year’s performance, “Voices of Art,” brings together choral music, instrumental pieces and movement in a powerful exploration of life and meaning — all in support of our student-led Service Learning initiatives.

More than a concert, this is a community event. Before the performance, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our Service Learning groups, learn about their projects, and see the real impact your support makes.
