THE TRAINING OF TRAINERS WORKSHOP – NEOTECH ENGLISH WORKS! 2026 (SOUTHERN REGION)
The NeoTECH English Works! 2026 Training of Trainers Workshop has successfully concluded, bringing together educators from four partner universities in Southern Vietnam: The University of Danang – University of Technology and Education (UTE), VNUHCM – University of Information Technology (UIT), VNUHCM – University of Science (HCMUS), and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).
Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in interactive discussions and practical activities focused on integrating employability skills into English language teaching. The sessions encouraged the exchange of ideas and teaching practices that can help students develop the competencies needed for success in today's dynamic workplace.
A highlight of the program was a sharing session by a representative from Google for Education, who offered valuable perspectives on soft skills, employability skills, and the evolving expectations of employers. These insights sparked meaningful discussions on how educators can better prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of the future workforce.
The workshop also strengthened connections between academia and industry through a company visit to Qualcomm Vietnam (HCM), a global leader in wireless and semiconductor technologies. The visit provided participants with first-hand exposure to a professional working environment and valuable insights into industry trends, workforce needs, and the skills expected of future graduates.
