So much delicious food was shared and created this week at our "Cooking around the world" circle. The challenge was to prepare something you had never cooked before. Such talented ladies, with brave recipies, trying new techniques ... our reward was the feast and festivities afterwards!!

🌸 International Women’s Day High Tea

Yesterday we gathered 80 incredible women to celebrate International Women’s Day, and what a special moment it was 💜

Women from all over the world came together, each bringing a piece of their culture with them. We saw beautiful dresses, meaningful jewelry, traditional hairstyles, flags, fabrics, and special items from home. Every detail told a story, a reminder of the many places, traditions, and histories that make up this amazing community.✨

Living abroad often means building a new sense of home, and moments like these remind us how lucky we are to have this community. A group of women who support each other, learn from each other, and celebrate the richness of our differences.

Thank you for sharing your culture, your stories, and your energy with us.
It was truly a celebration of women, diversity, friendship, and connection and we’re so thankful to experience it together💜🪷

💜🌍 Celebrating the Women of HIWC

Today we celebrate something truly special, all of you.

HIWC is made up of women from more than 60 countries, each bringing with her a unique story, culture, perspective, and life experience. Together, we create something powerful: a community where differences are not just welcomed, but celebrated.

As international women living far from home, we understand the courage it takes to build a life in a new place. We share the experience of adapting, learning, and growing in unfamiliar environments and through that, we support one another.

Within this group we exchange ideas, traditions, laughter, advice, and friendship. We learn from each other’s cultures, celebrate our diversity, and find common ground in the values that connect us.

🪷The willingness to listen, learn, and lift one another up

These are the things that make this community so strong.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible women who make this club what it is, women who show up, share their stories, and help create a welcoming space for others.

Together, we are a reminder that when women from around the world come together, we don’t just build friendships we build understanding.

Coffee, cake, and heartfelt chats at The Buttermann Bakery, it was the kind of gathering that feels extra special when you’re living far from family and looking to feel a little more at home.

This is what HIWC is all about: showing up, connecting, and building something meaningful together.

We’re officially wrapping up our Coffee Mornings for the season, back again in August! ☕✨
