VIỆT NAM THÚC ĐẨY THAM GIA TOÀN CẦU ĐỐI VỚI CÔNG ƯỚC LIÊN HỢP QUỐC VỀ CHỐNG TỘI PHẠM MẠNG

Ngày 1/6, trong khuôn khổ Khóa họp lần thứ 35 của Ủy ban Phòng ngừa tội phạm và Tư pháp hình sự (CCPCJ 35) tại Trụ sở Liên hợp quốc ở Vienna (Áo), Việt Nam phối hợp với Văn phòng Liên hợp quốc về Phòng chống ma túy và tội phạm (UNODC) tổ chức tọa đàm với chủ đề: “Từ Hà Nội tới tham gia toàn cầu: Thúc đẩy ký kết và phê chuẩn Công ước Liên hợp quốc về chống tội phạm mạng”.

Tọa đàm có sự tham dự của Đại sứ Vũ Lê Thái Hoàng, Trưởng Phái đoàn thường trực Việt Nam tại Liên hợp quốc và các Tổ chức quốc tế tại Vienna; đại diện các bộ, ngành liên quan của Việt Nam; đại diện UNODC cùng đại diện các quốc gia thành viên Liên hợp quốc và các chuyên gia trong lĩnh vực an ninh mạng, phòng chống tội phạm mạng.

Phát biểu tại tọa đàm, ông Chu Tuấn Đức, Phó Vụ trưởng Vụ Luật pháp và Điều ước quốc tế (Bộ Ngoại giao), Trưởng đoàn Việt Nam, khẳng định việc mở ký Công ước tại Hà Nội vào tháng 10/2025 là dấu mốc quan trọng đối với hợp tác quốc tế trong phòng, chống tội phạm mạng.

Ngày 17/4/2026, Việt Nam đã nộp văn kiện phê chuẩn Công ước cho Tổng Thư ký Liên hợp quốc, trở thành quốc gia đầu tiên tại Đông Nam Á và là nước thứ ba trên thế giới hoàn tất thủ tục phê chuẩn.

Việt Nam đồng thời kêu gọi các quốc gia sớm hoàn tất các thủ tục trong nước để ký kết và phê chuẩn Công ước, góp phần thúc đẩy Công ước sớm có hiệu lực và mở rộng mạng lưới hợp tác toàn cầu trong phòng, chống tội phạm mạng.

Tại tọa đàm, phía Việt Nam cũng nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc xây dựng năng lực cho các nước đang phát triển thông qua hoàn thiện khuôn khổ pháp luật, đào tạo nguồn nhân lực, hỗ trợ kỹ thuật và chuyển giao công nghệ. Việt Nam hiện đang phối hợp với UNODC và các đối tác quốc tế thúc đẩy việc thành lập Trung tâm khu vực về phòng chống tội phạm mạng tại Hà Nội nhằm tăng cường hợp tác thực tiễn và chia sẻ kinh nghiệm trong khu vực.

VIETNAM FÖRDERT DIE GLOBALE BETEILIGUNG AN DER UN-KONVENTION GEGEN CYBERKRIMINALITÄT

Am 1. Juni veranstaltete Vietnam gemeinsam mit dem Büro der Vereinten Nationen für Drogen- und Verbrechensbekämpfung (UNODC) im Rahmen der 35. Tagung der Kommission für Verbrechensverhütung und Strafrechtspflege (CCPCJ 35) am Sitz der Vereinten Nationen in Wien eine Fachveranstaltung zum Thema: „Von Hanoi zur globalen Beteiligung: Förderung der Unterzeichnung und Ratifizierung der UN-Konvention gegen Cyberkriminalität“.

An der Veranstaltung nahmen Botschafter Vũ Lê Thái Hoàng, Leiter der Ständigen Vertretung Vietnams bei den Vereinten Nationen und internationalen Organisationen in Wien, Vertreter vietnamesischer Ministerien und Behörden, Vertreter des UNODC sowie Delegierte der UN-Mitgliedstaaten und Experten im Bereich Cybersicherheit teil.

In seiner Rede betonte Herr Chu Tuấn Đức, stellvertretender Direktor der Abteilung für Völkerrecht und internationale Verträge des vietnamesischen Außenministeriums und Leiter der vietnamesischen Delegation, dass die Eröffnung der Unterzeichnung der Konvention in Hanoi im Oktober 2025 einen wichtigen Meilenstein für die internationale Zusammenarbeit bei der Bekämpfung der Cyberkriminalität darstelle.

Am 17. April 2026 hinterlegte Vietnam seine Ratifikationsurkunde beim Generalsekretär der Vereinten Nationen und wurde damit das erste Land Südostasiens sowie das dritte Land weltweit, das das Ratifizierungsverfahren abgeschlossen hat.

Vietnam rief zugleich alle Staaten dazu auf, ihre innerstaatlichen Verfahren zur Unterzeichnung und Ratifizierung der Konvention zügig abzuschließen, um deren baldiges Inkrafttreten und die Ausweitung der internationalen Zusammenarbeit gegen Cyberkriminalität zu fördern.

Darüber hinaus unterstrich Vietnam die Bedeutung des Kapazitätsaufbaus für Entwicklungsländer durch die Verbesserung rechtlicher Rahmenbedingungen, die Ausbildung von Fachkräften, technische Unterstützung und Technologietransfer. Gemeinsam mit dem UNODC und internationalen Partnern arbeitet Vietnam derzeit an der Einrichtung eines regionalen Zentrums zur Bekämpfung der Cyberkriminalität in Hanoi.

VIETNAM PROMOTES GLOBAL PARTICIPATION IN THE UN CONVENTION AGAINST CYBERCRIME

On June 1, within the framework of the 35th Session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ 35) at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna, Vietnam, in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), organized a side event entitled: “From Hanoi to Global Participation: Promoting the Signing and Ratification of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime”.

The event was attended by Ambassador Vũ Lê Thái Hoàng, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations and International Organizations in Vienna, representatives of Vietnamese ministries and agencies, UNODC officials, delegates from UN Member States, and experts in cybersecurity and cybercrime prevention.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Chu Tuấn Đức, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Law and Treaties under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Head of the Vietnamese Delegation, emphasized that the opening for signature of the Convention in Hanoi in October 2025 marked a significant milestone in international cooperation against cybercrime.

On April 17, 2026, Vietnam deposited its instrument of ratification with the UN Secretary-General, becoming the first country in Southeast Asia and the third country worldwide to complete the ratification process.

Vietnam also called on other countries to expedite their domestic procedures for signing and ratifying the Convention, thereby facilitating its early entry into force and expanding the global network of cooperation in combating cybercrime.

At the event, Vietnam highlighted the importance of capacity building for developing countries through the improvement of legal frameworks, professional training, technical assistance, and technology transfer. Vietnam is currently working with UNODC and international partners to establish a Regional Cybercrime Centre in Hanoi to strengthen practical cooperation and knowledge-sharing across the region.

HỘI HỮU NGHỊ VIỆT NAM – ÁO TRAO ĐỔI VỚI ĐẠI SỨ VIỆT NAM TẠI ÁO VỀ CHƯƠNG TRÌNH CÔNG TÁC NĂM 2026 VÀ ĐỊNH HƯỚNG HỢP TÁC TRONG THỜI GIAN TỚI

Chiều ngày 28/5/2026, Hội Hữu nghị Việt Nam – Áo đã tổ chức buổi làm việc trực tuyến với Đại sứ Vũ Lê Thái Hoàng, Đại sứ Đặc mệnh toàn quyền nước Cộng hòa xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam tại Cộng hòa Áo. Buổi làm việc có sự tham dự của lãnh đạo Hội, các Ủy viên Ban Chấp hành cùng một số hội viên quan tâm đến các hoạt động hợp tác Việt Nam – Áo.

Tại buổi làm việc, các đại biểu đã trao đổi về kế hoạch tổ chức đoàn công tác của Hội Hữu nghị Việt Nam – Áo sang thăm và làm việc tại Áo dự kiến vào tháng 7/2026 do GS.TS. Trần Tuấn Anh, Phó Chủ tịch Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam, Chủ tịch Hội làm trưởng đoàn.

Các bên đã thảo luận về nội dung chương trình làm việc với Hội Áo – Việt Nam, công tác chuẩn bị cho Lễ trao Huân chương Hữu nghị của Nhà nước Việt Nam dành cho Hội Áo – Việt Nam và cựu Chủ tịch Hội; đồng thời trao đổi về việc mở rộng mạng lưới đối tác của Hội tại Áo trong các lĩnh vực giáo dục, khoa học – công nghệ, văn hóa, du lịch và kết nối cộng đồng người Việt Nam tại Áo.

Đại sứ Vũ Lê Thái Hoàng đánh giá cao những đóng góp của Hội Hữu nghị Việt Nam – Áo trong việc thúc đẩy quan hệ hữu nghị nhân dân giữa hai nước, đồng thời chia sẻ một số thông tin về tình hình hợp tác Việt Nam – Áo hiện nay cũng như những cơ hội tăng cường kết nối trong thời gian tới. Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Áo khẳng định sẽ tiếp tục phối hợp, hỗ trợ các hoạt động của Hội nhằm góp phần làm sâu sắc hơn quan hệ hữu nghị và hợp tác giữa hai nước.

Buổi làm việc cũng dành thời gian trao đổi về các ý tưởng và kế hoạch phối hợp hướng tới kỷ niệm 55 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam – Áo vào năm 2027, với kỳ vọng triển khai nhiều hoạt động thiết thực, ý nghĩa, góp phần tăng cường hiểu biết và giao lưu giữa nhân dân hai nước.

Buổi làm việc diễn ra trong không khí cởi mở, xây dựng và đạt được nhiều kết quả tích cực, tạo tiền đề quan trọng cho các hoạt động của Hội Hữu nghị Việt Nam – Áo trong thời gian tới.

Am 28. Mai 2026 führte die Vietnamesisch-Österreichische Freundschaftsgesellschaft eine Online-Arbeitssitzung mit S.E. Vũ Lê Thái Hoàng, Außerordentlicher und Bevollmächtigter Botschafter der Sozialistischen Republik Vietnam in der Republik Österreich, durch. An der Sitzung nahmen die Leitung der Gesellschaft, Mitglieder des Exekutivkomitees sowie weitere an den vietnamesisch-österreichischen Beziehungen interessierte Mitglieder teil.

Im Mittelpunkt des Austauschs standen die Vorbereitungen für die Delegationsreise der Vietnamesisch-Österreichischen Freundschaftsgesellschaft nach Österreich, die für Juli 2026 geplant ist. Die Delegation wird von Prof. Dr. Trần Tuấn Anh, Vizepräsident der Vietnamischen Akademie für Wissenschaft und Technologie und Präsident der Gesellschaft, geleitet.

Die Teilnehmer erörterten das geplante Arbeitsprogramm mit der Österreichisch-Vietnamesischen Gesellschaft, die Vorbereitungen für die Verleihung des Freundschaftsordens des vietnamesischen Staates an die Österreichisch-Vietnamesische Gesellschaft und deren ehemaligen Präsidenten sowie die Erweiterung des Partnernetzwerks der Gesellschaft in Österreich. Dabei wurden insbesondere Kooperationsmöglichkeiten in den Bereichen Bildung, Wissenschaft und Technologie, Kultur, Tourismus sowie die Vernetzung mit der vietnamesischen Gemeinschaft in Österreich besprochen.

Botschafter Vũ Lê Thái Hoàng würdigte die wichtigen Beiträge der Vietnamesisch-Österreichischen Freundschaftsgesellschaft zur Förderung der freundschaftlichen Beziehungen zwischen den Völkern beider Länder. Darüber hinaus informierte er über den aktuellen Stand der bilateralen Zusammenarbeit zwischen Vietnam und Österreich und zeigte Perspektiven für eine weitere Intensivierung der Beziehungen auf. Die Botschaft Vietnams in Österreich bekräftigte ihre Bereitschaft, die Aktivitäten der Gesellschaft weiterhin aktiv zu unterstützen und damit zur Vertiefung der Freundschaft und Zusammenarbeit zwischen beiden Ländern beizutragen.

Zudem wurden erste Ideen und Kooperationspläne im Hinblick auf das 55-jährige Jubiläum der diplomatischen Beziehungen zwischen Vietnam und Österreich im Jahr 2027 diskutiert. Beide Seiten äußerten den Wunsch, dieses Jubiläum durch vielfältige und bedeutungsvolle Aktivitäten zu würdigen und den Austausch zwischen den Menschen beider Länder weiter zu stärken.

Die Sitzung verlief in einer offenen und konstruktiven Atmosphäre und brachte zahlreiche positive Ergebnisse hervor. Sie bildet eine wichtige Grundlage für die weiteren Aktivitäten der Vietnamesisch-Österreichischen Freundschaftsgesellschaft in den kommenden Jahren.

VIETNAM–AUSTRIA FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION HOLDS WORKING SESSION WITH THE VIETNAMESE AMBASSADOR TO AUSTRIA ON THE 2026 WORK PROGRAMME AND FUTURE COOPERATION ORIENTATIONS

On 28 May 2026, the Vietnam–Austria Friendship Association held an online working session with H.E. Vu Le Thai Hoang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the Republic of Austria. The meeting was attended by the Association’s leadership, members of its Executive Committee, and several members interested in Vietnam–Austria cooperation activities.

During the meeting, participants discussed preparations for the Association’s delegation visit to Austria, scheduled for July 2026 and to be led by Prof. Dr. Tran Tuan Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and President of the Vietnam–Austria Friendship Association.

The discussions focused on the working programme with the Austria–Vietnam Association, preparations for the presentation of the Friendship Order of the State of Viet Nam to the Austria–Vietnam Association and its former President, as well as plans to expand the Association’s network of partners in Austria in the fields of education, science and technology, culture, tourism, and engagement with the Vietnamese community in Austria.

Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang highly appreciated the contributions of the Vietnam–Austria Friendship Association in promoting people-to-people relations between the two countries. He also shared updates on the current state of Vietnam–Austria cooperation and highlighted opportunities for strengthening connections and collaboration in the coming years. The Embassy of Viet Nam in Austria reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Association’s activities in order to further deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss coordination plans in preparation for the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Austria in 2027. Both sides expressed their expectation to organize meaningful and practical activities that would further enhance mutual understanding and people-to-people exchanges.

The meeting took place in an open and constructive atmosphere and yielded positive outcomes, laying an important foundation for the future activities of the Vietnam–Austria Friendship Association.

CHUYÊN GIA VIỆT NAM – ÁO THÚC ĐẨY HỢP TÁC VỀ AI VÀ AN NINH MẠNG

Hai bên đã trao đổi về xu hướng an ninh mạng toàn cầu, tác động của các quy định quốc tế mới cũng như các lĩnh vực ưu tiên có thể thúc đẩy hợp tác trong thời gian tới.

Cuối tuần qua, đoàn công tác của Hiệp hội An ninh mạng quốc gia (NCA) cùng đại diện Bộ Công an Việt Nam đã có buổi làm việc chuyên sâu với Viện Công nghệ Áo (AIT) nhằm thúc đẩy hợp tác trong các lĩnh vực an ninh mạng, dữ liệu và trí tuệ nhân tạo (AI).

Tham dự buổi làm việc, về phía Việt Nam có Đại tá Hà Văn Bắc, Ủy viên Ban Chấp hành NCA; ông Vũ Duy Hiền, Phó Tổng thư ký kiêm Chánh Văn phòng NCA cùng đại diện Ban Nghiên cứu, tư vấn, phát triển công nghệ và Hợp tác quốc tế. Về phía AIT, có Tiến sỹ Helmut Leopold, Tiến sỹ Martin Stierle, Tiến sỹ Ross Kind và Tiến sỹ Bernhard Kohn.

Phát biểu tại buổi làm việc, ông Vũ Duy Hiền nhấn mạnh Hiệp hội An ninh mạng quốc gia luôn xác định hợp tác quốc tế là một trong những định hướng trọng tâm nhằm thúc đẩy chia sẻ tri thức, kinh nghiệm và kết nối công nghệ trong bối cảnh các thách thức an ninh mạng ngày càng mang tính xuyên biên giới.

Ông cho biết hiệp hội đang đóng vai trò là nền tảng kết nối giữa cơ quan quản lý nhà nước, doanh nghiệp và cộng đồng chuyên gia; đồng thời tích cực tham gia tư vấn chính sách, phản biện pháp lý và thúc đẩy phát triển hệ sinh thái an ninh mạng bền vững tại Việt Nam.

Trong khuôn khổ buổi làm việc, hai bên đã trao đổi về xu hướng an ninh mạng toàn cầu, tác động của các quy định quốc tế mới cũng như các lĩnh vực ưu tiên có thể thúc đẩy hợp tác trong thời gian tới.

NCA đề xuất tăng cường quan hệ đối tác chiến lược với AIT thông qua các định hướng trọng tâm gồm: bảo vệ hạ tầng số trọng yếu; bảo đảm an toàn dữ liệu và xây dựng hệ sinh thái số tin cậy; ứng dụng AI và phân tích dữ liệu trong công tác bảo đảm an ninh mạng; hợp tác đào tạo nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao; thúc đẩy trao đổi chuyên gia và phối hợp tổ chức các diễn đàn, hội thảo quốc tế thường niên.

Bên cạnh đó, hiệp hội cũng đề xuất mở rộng kết nối doanh nghiệp công nghệ giữa hai nước nhằm thúc đẩy chuyển giao công nghệ, triển khai các sáng kiến hợp tác về an ninh mạng, dữ liệu và trí tuệ nhân tạo.

Tại buổi làm việc, các chuyên gia AIT đã giới thiệu nhiều giải pháp công nghệ mới liên quan đến phân tích dữ liệu quy mô lớn, truyền thông ứng dụng AI, công nghệ giám sát biên giới thông minh, bảo mật hậu lượng tử và quản lý định danh số.

Theo đại diện AIT, việc kết hợp giữa AI, khoa học dữ liệu và các nền tảng an ninh số thế hệ mới sẽ góp phần nâng cao khả năng dự báo, phát hiện sớm và ứng phó hiệu quả trước các mối đe dọa an ninh mạng ngày càng phức tạp.

Buổi làm việc được đánh giá là bước tiếp nối quan trọng sau Diễn đàn An ninh mạng Áo-Việt Nam 2026, góp phần làm sâu sắc hơn quan hệ hợp tác song phương giữa Việt Nam và Áo trong lĩnh vực an ninh mạng và công nghệ số, đồng thời mở ra nhiều cơ hội hợp tác thực chất giữa các cơ quan, tổ chức và doanh nghiệp hai nước./.

Beide Seiten tauschten sich über globale Trends der Cybersicherheit, die Auswirkungen neuer internationaler Regelungen sowie über prioritäre Bereiche zur Förderung der künftigen Zusammenarbeit aus.

Am vergangenen Wochenende führte eine Delegation der Nationalen Vereinigung für Cybersicherheit Vietnams (NCA) gemeinsam mit Vertretern des vietnamesischen Ministeriums für öffentliche Sicherheit ein intensives Arbeitsgespräch mit dem Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), um die Zusammenarbeit in den Bereichen Cybersicherheit, Daten und Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) zu stärken.

An dem Treffen nahmen auf vietnamesischer Seite Oberst Ha Van Bac, Mitglied des Exekutivkomitees der NCA, Herr Vu Duy Hien, stellvertretender Generalsekretär und Leiter des Büros der NCA, sowie Vertreter der Abteilungen Forschung, Beratung, Technologieentwicklung und internationale Zusammenarbeit teil. Die AIT-Seite wurde von Dr. Helmut Leopold, Dr. Martin Stierle, Dr. Ross Kind und Dr. Bernhard Kohn vertreten.

In seiner Rede betonte Herr Vu Duy Hien, dass die Nationale Vereinigung für Cybersicherheit die internationale Zusammenarbeit stets als eine der wichtigsten strategischen Ausrichtungen betrachte, um Wissensaustausch, Erfahrungsaustausch und technologische Vernetzung angesichts zunehmend grenzüberschreitender Cyberbedrohungen zu fördern.

Er erklärte, dass die Vereinigung als Plattform zur Vernetzung staatlicher Behörden, Unternehmen und der Expertengemeinschaft fungiere und gleichzeitig aktiv an Politikberatung, rechtlicher Begutachtung sowie am Aufbau eines nachhaltigen Cybersicherheitsökosystems in Vietnam mitwirke.

Im Rahmen des Arbeitsgesprächs tauschten sich beide Seiten über globale Entwicklungen der Cybersicherheit, die Auswirkungen neuer internationaler Vorschriften sowie über prioritäre Kooperationsfelder für die Zukunft aus.

Die NCA schlug vor, die strategische Partnerschaft mit dem AIT in mehreren Schwerpunktbereichen auszubauen, darunter: Schutz kritischer digitaler Infrastrukturen; Gewährleistung der Datensicherheit und Aufbau eines vertrauenswürdigen digitalen Ökosystems; Einsatz von KI und Datenanalyse zur Gewährleistung der Cybersicherheit; Zusammenarbeit bei der Ausbildung hochqualifizierter Fachkräfte; Förderung des Expertenaustauschs sowie die gemeinsame Organisation jährlicher internationaler Foren und Konferenzen.

Darüber hinaus schlug die Vereinigung vor, die Vernetzung von Technologieunternehmen beider Länder auszubauen, um Technologietransfer sowie gemeinsame Initiativen in den Bereichen Cybersicherheit, Daten und Künstliche Intelligenz zu fördern.

Während des Treffens stellten die Experten des AIT zahlreiche neue technologische Lösungen vor, darunter groß angelegte Datenanalysen, KI-gestützte Kommunikation, intelligente Grenzüberwachungstechnologien, Post-Quanten-Sicherheit sowie digitales Identitätsmanagement.

Nach Angaben der AIT-Vertreter werde die Kombination aus KI, Datenwissenschaft und digitalen Sicherheitsplattformen der nächsten Generation dazu beitragen, Prognosefähigkeiten, frühzeitige Erkennung und wirksame Reaktionen auf zunehmend komplexe Cyberbedrohungen zu verbessern.

Das Treffen wurde als wichtiger nächster Schritt nach dem Österreich–Vietnam Cybersicherheitsforum 2026 bewertet. Es trägt zur Vertiefung der bilateralen Zusammenarbeit zwischen Vietnam und Österreich im Bereich Cybersicherheit und digitale Technologien bei und eröffnet zugleich zahlreiche praktische Kooperationsmöglichkeiten für Behörden, Organisationen und Unternehmen beider Länder.

VIETNAMESE AND AUSTRIAN EXPERTS PROMOTE COOPERATION IN AI AND CYBERSECURITY

The two sides exchanged views on global cybersecurity trends, the impact of new international regulations, and priority areas that could further enhance cooperation in the coming period.

Last weekend, a delegation from the National Cybersecurity Association (NCA), together with representatives from Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security, held an in-depth working session with the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) to strengthen cooperation in cybersecurity, data, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Representing the Vietnamese side were Colonel Ha Van Bac, Member of the Executive Committee of the NCA; Mr. Vu Duy Hien, Deputy Secretary General and Chief of Office of the NCA; along with representatives from the Research, Consultancy, Technology Development and International Cooperation divisions. Representing AIT were Dr. Helmut Leopold, Dr. Martin Stierle, Dr. Ross Kind, and Dr. Bernhard Kohn.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Duy Hien emphasized that the National Cybersecurity Association consistently regards international cooperation as one of its key strategic orientations to promote knowledge sharing, exchange of experience, and technological connectivity in the context of increasingly cross-border cybersecurity challenges.

He noted that the association is serving as a platform connecting state management agencies, businesses, and the expert community, while actively contributing to policy consultation, legal review, and the development of a sustainable cybersecurity ecosystem in Vietnam.

During the working session, both sides discussed global cybersecurity trends, the impact of new international regulations, and priority areas for future cooperation.

The NCA proposed strengthening its strategic partnership with AIT through several key areas, including: protection of critical digital infrastructure; ensuring data security and building a trusted digital ecosystem; applying AI and data analytics in cybersecurity operations; cooperation in training high-quality human resources; promoting expert exchanges; and jointly organizing annual international forums and conferences.

In addition, the association proposed expanding connections between technology enterprises of the two countries in order to facilitate technology transfer and implement cooperative initiatives in cybersecurity, data, and artificial intelligence.

At the meeting, AIT experts introduced a number of new technological solutions related to large-scale data analytics, AI-powered communications, smart border surveillance technologies, post-quantum security, and digital identity management.

According to AIT representatives, the combination of AI, data science, and next-generation digital security platforms will help improve forecasting capabilities, early threat detection, and effective responses to increasingly complex cybersecurity threats.

The meeting was considered an important follow-up to the Austria–Vietnam Cybersecurity Forum 2026, contributing to the deepening of bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Austria in cybersecurity and digital technology, while opening up many practical opportunities for collaboration among agencies, organizations, and enterprises of the two countries.
