This week, the Sweden Alumni Network Vietnam (SANV), together with the Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi, had the pleasure of hosting the Alumni Meeting 2026 at the Swedish Residence.
It was a truly memorable evening where generations of alumni came together to reconnect, share stories, and relive cherished memories of Sweden. The atmosphere was made even more special by the beautiful sounds of La Vie en Rose by Saxophonist Le Duy Manh. It was, simply put, a beautiful and charming evening. 🎷✨

Looking back at 2025, SANV is proud of a year filled with dynamic and impactful activities. From celebrating Swedish culture through Midsummer 🌼 and Lucia 🕯️, to promoting Study in Sweden 🎓 and highlighting Sweden’s good practices in sustainable development and green transition 🌱, our community has continued to grow — expanding our network, deepening connections with experts across different fields, and creating meaningful exchanges of knowledge and ideas.

Two technical training workshops — Urban Greening Vietnam 🌳 and Green Lab: Building Understanding for Sustainable Transition — provided valuable opportunities to dive deeper into technical knowledge with the support of leading experts from Vietnam and abroad.
We also proudly achieved 1st Runner-Up at the Traditional Dragon Boat Racing 🐉🚣‍♂️, a result that reflected the team’s strength, commitment, and most importantly, our shared spirit of unity.

None of these achievements would have been possible without the dedication of our team leaders, members, friends and volunteers. Your contributions at every step of the journey have been truly invaluable. 🙌

Our sincere thanks also go to the Embassy of Sweden, the Swedish Institute, the European Union Delegation to Vietnam, and the EU Alumni Network for their continued support and partnership. 🇻🇳🇸🇪🇪🇺

Looking ahead to 2026, SANV will continue our beloved traditions, including Midsummer 🌼 and the Dragon Boat Racing 🐉🚣. At the same time, our technical workshops will explore new and important themes such as Health Innovation 🧬, Maritime Security ⚓, and Green Trajectory 🌍.

We warmly invite our alumni and friends to join hands with us in bringing this vision to life — strengthening our community, expanding collaboration, and continuing to share knowledge that drives positive change.

The Sweden Alumni Network Vietnam (SANV) proudly organized Green Lab: Building Understanding for Sustainable Transition with funding and support from the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam 🇪🇺 and the EU Alumni Network Vietnam.

✨ The event brought together highly experienced experts and true pioneers in sustainability, sharing hands-on insights and real-world experiences — from policy design to practical implementation.

💬 The sessions were dynamic, interactive, and full of lively discussions, enabling participants to exchange ideas, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of sustainable transition in an engaging and practical way.

We have officially closed both the registration form and confirmation form for Green Lab: Building Understanding for Sustainable Solutions.

The event has received strong interest from our community, and we are truly grateful for the enthusiasm and support. Due to the large number of registrations, we regret that we were unable to accommodate some late registrations and have sent notification emails accordingly.
