Thunder Bay Salmon Association The objectives of the Thunder Bay Salmon Association shall be to raise the funds necessary for the management of the Salmon in Lake Superior

1) The objectives of the Thunder Bay Salmon Association shall be:
a) To raise the funds necessary for the management of the Thunder Bay Salmon
Association;
b) To encourage, facilitate and develop the growth and expanse of the Chinook
salmon population in the Great Lakes;
c) To assist and monitor the protection of the salmon species;
d) To support and promote the sport of salmon fishing, to organiz

e and supervise
sporting and recreational activities and events related to the sport of salmon
fishing;
e) To promote public awareness and the appreciation of the salmon species and
salmon fishing;
f) To promote the Thunder Bay salmon association as a caring, community minded
organization, by providing financial support to groups or individuals when deemed
worthy. g) to lobby the appropriate Regulatory bodies to ensure the proper management of
the species
2) The Association will meet all legislative and regulatory requirements that apply to its
operations, decisions and activities.
3) The Association will assist other groups who have a similar objective.

The 2025 Thunder Bay Salmon Association, D&R Salmon Derby will be held on July 11th, 12th & 13th.
Payout for the top 10 largest Salmon.
Plus a chance to win thousands of dollars of additional prizes, just for purchasing a derby entry ticket.
Chance to win $500.00 just for bringing your salmon into the MNR research table, for sampling.
Kids 10 and under, have a chance to win 1 of 3 prizes.
