HOPE THROUGH GIVING


In December 2025, we launched a campaign to spread love and hope during Christmas.

Through generous support, we delivered food baskets and treat packs to families facing poverty or impacted by floods and landslides, isolated elderly and persons with disabilities, and disadvantaged children from ethnic minority communities in remote and rural areas.

We are deeply grateful to our donors whose generous support made this initiative possible and helped it go beyond our expectations. In total, 1,300 food baskets and over 1,100 treat packs were distributed, bringing joy and renewed hope to thousands during the Christmas season.

Emergency Relief for Flood Victims in Da Nang City

Since October 27th, The central region of Vietnam, where L.O.V.E is located, is struggling with severe storms, heavy floods, and deadly landslides. According to weather forecasts, these areas will continue to be hit by typhoon Kalmaegi, followed by heavy rains. The previous floodwaters have not yet receded, and another wave is coming — a situation locals call “floods upon floods.” Many communities, many villages, many families will have to endure the lack of food, clean water, and the cold now throughout the Christmas season. Their homes and belongings have been washed away, leaving behind only sorrow and loss. Right now, they are in desperate need of food, prayer, and encouragement.

The damage caused by floods in Central Vietnam continues to be monitored and updated. According to consolidated reports as of the morning of 4/11/2025, the latest damage figures are as follows:
Human Toll The total number of casualties includes 40 fatalities and 6 missing individuals, along with 76 people injured. The provinces suffering the most significant losses of life are Hue City (15 deaths), Da Nang City (14 deaths), Quang Tri (7 deaths), and Lam D**g (4 deaths). The floods have caused immense property damage, with 104 houses collapsed or swept away and 453 houses damaged. The situation remains severe as 79,854 houses are still submerged by water. 🏠

Because of this urgent situation, we had a trip to reach the most heavily flooded areas in Da Nang to provide food and relief. We will also have mission trips to give food baskets to people at affected areas, ethnic minority children, the elderly, the poor, and the disabled after the floods and throughout the Christmas season, depending on the needs of each location.

We earnestly call on you to extend your hands to help, to provide food baskets, and bring warmth to those in need this winter. We believe that the love of Jesus Christ will comfort their pain and fill their hearts with hope this Christmas.. “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord.” – Proverbs 19:17

To bring the children a brighter and happier start for the new school year, L.O.V.E distributed 50 Brighter Lives gift packages to poor students in the mountainous and suburban areas of Da Nang, as well as ethnic minority students in nearby regions recently.

Each package included a food basket, a school backpack, notebooks, and a study lamp. The light from these lamps not only helps the children study more conveniently at night, but also symbolizes hope and new opportunities on their journey to education.

BACK TO SCHOOL WITH JOY!!!!!

Over 160 sets of school supplies have been distributed to sponsored children and their siblings. Each set included a pair of shoes, a school backpack, notebooks, textbooks and material for uniforms. All supplies were delivered to the children by mid-July, August.

These are one of the many benefits of children and their siblings during the sponsorship time beside the monthly meeting and stipend.

PLAN FOR CHRISTMAS – A SEASON OF LOVE
We Are Looking For A Helping Hand From You

To BRING JOY and LOVE of CHRISTMAS TO THE POOR MOUNTAINOUS CHILDREN, ELDERLY AND FAMILIES.

L.O.V.E’s humantarian mission trip 2024 needs your helping hand to send out 250 food baskets including clothing, blankets, food with $20 for a basket - total need is $5000 to a very poor area in Da Nang and Quang Ngai.

We also pray to share and send love, small food gifts to 1000 ethnic children, garbage collectors and poor elderly around LOVE office on Christmas month. At $3 for a set, we will need $3000)

Most of our Children will not experience Christmas without our help. If you can help make these dreams come true, please email us or just give extra to our Hope to Overcome Poverty & Emptiness (HOPE) fund. On the eve of the new school year, in response to the call of the Women's Union, L.O.V.E organized a Gifts Giving & Support Program for disadvantaged students in Hoa Bac commune - a suburb in Da Nang. Accompanying us is the technology company Synopsys as a sponsor.

The program consists of two parts. The first part is kids games, and the second part is giving gifts. Elementary school students participate in four different fun games under the guidance of volunteers who are Synopsys' staff. When completing each game successfully, the children will receive stickers, and then use the stickers to exchange for the desired rewards.

150 gifts were given out. Each gift included school items (bag, water bottle, raincoat, hat, school supplies), rice, milk and desk lamps.

We are very grateful to the authorities and the Women's Union in Hoa Bac commune for their agreement to make the program successful. We would like to thank the generous sponsor - Synopsys company - for helping to light up dreams and spread joy to many disadvantaged children.
