CFVI awarded a grant to the Virgin Islands Justice Initiative in 2022, with funding from the Popular VI Community Fund, to launch a new free direct services litigation program for restorative justice. The program obtains expungements (record clearing) and provides legal representation to youth ages 18-26 who are currently engaged in or have completed My Brother’s Workshop or similar job training programs. Funds were also used to record a short film that explains the importance of the Youth Restorative Justice Program in collaboration with My Brother's Workshop and disseminate it to the community.
