Greetings to our facebook family. Youth Arise is excited about our Fundraising event on October 15, 2023. It is A Family Affair, and we want as many of you to come out and participate if you can. If you are unable to attend, please feel free to donate on our website: www.youtharisevi.org. With all the violence, drug abuse and challenges that our youth face daily, we have to come together to provide opportunities and guidance to help and support our youth to navigate these tough times. Please help us raise money to put on our roof and build additional classroom space and dorms for youth to be able fully participate in our vocational training and mentoring programs. Thank you in advance for your generous donation, and God bless you as you help us to be a blessing to our youth and their families.

The Founders

Romeo and Arlene Christopher are the founders of Youth Arise, Inc . They have both been serving the Virgin Island Community for many years, and they continue to serve the community through their non-profit organization. Romeo is a Retired Police Lieutenant Officer of the VI Police Department and a Veteran of the Army and Naval Services. He also served as the Territorial Director for the Environmental Health, Security Division for the Department of Health. Arlene is a Pediatrician who worked in many Clinics throughout the territory and also in Private Practice. She was the former Territorial Director of the Maternal Child Health (MCH) Program. The are both International Chaplains.

It has been a wonderful journey...touching the lives of the VI youth and their families with our various programs...vocational training in plumbing, carpentry and electricity; parent and youth conferences; movie night; community intercessory prayer and group presentations. We have done this with our own funds and want to expand our programs to reach more youth and their families.
