I come from a matrilineal culture, which may give context for what I will suggest: an intentional circle of women praying together for an Emergence to take place. In indigenous wisdom an Emergence is a spiritual transition. It is an evolutionary step up from one level of life to another. It is a shift, a movement, a transformation. Women are gifted to be especially sensitive to these sacred moments. They are catalysts for change. Therefore, I invite women from around the world to join in a sisterhood of prayer: all focused on taking us from the reality in which we now struggle to the next level of our common hope. Mother Earth is at the center of this circle. Sisters, please help her birth a better tomorrow for us all.

As spiritual medics we use, what my ancestors called, good medicine. Spiritual medicine that heals, restores, and strengthens. We transmit this medicine to others through loving contact: a laying on of hands, a kind word, a prayer, a gift of time to sit together in shared hope. Good medicine can touch one person or a thousand. Once released, it flows like light through the dark spaces of sorrow. In times like these, we are all called to use what we have to protect and to heal. And we will be needed even more in the days to come. So check your inventory of love and join me in the fields of struggle.
