We’re hiring on St. Croix! Virgin Islands Conservation Society is looking for an Eco-Schools Program Manager to help lead and grow environmental education programming across the USVI.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with schools, educators, students, and community partners—and wants to help deepen students’ understanding of conservation, sustainability, and the importance of caring for the environment in their own communities.

🤍 Use clear or white bags
🧢 Remove caps and leave them in the bag
💧 Containers must be clean and dry
🚫 No black plastic of any kind
🥫 Keep aluminum in a separate bag

62 volunteers. 295 pounds of trash removed. 1 amazing morning at Vessup Beach 🌊👏

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out and helped make the Vessup Beach Cleanup a success!

From bottles and caps to cigarette butts and other debris, volunteers rolled up their sleeves and made a visible difference along the shoreline.

1828 items and 26 bags of trash later, Vessup Beach was a little cleaner because of you!

Thank you to everyone who gave their Saturday morning to help care for this beautiful place. We’re proud of this effort and even more proud of the community that made it happen 🙌

🌊 THIS SATURDAY: Vessup Beach Cleanup 🌱🌎

Coastweeks 2026 isn’t over yet! If you missed International Coastal Cleanup events last weekend, or you’re ready to come out again, VICS is hosting a cleanup at Vessup Beach this Saturday, September 26th.

Come spend a couple of hours with us helping remove trash and marine debris 🗑️ Last year, volunteers pulled an incredible amount of debris from this shoreline, and we need community hands again this year.

Please bring a water bottle, hat, hand sanitizer, comfortable clothing, and closed-toe shoes.

Before you head over, give your recycling a quick check ✅
