Last Friday, JAG-CHS Volunteers came out in support for the Week of the Young Child at DC Canegata Ball Park!
JAG-CHS volunteers honored youngsters by reading stories, distributing water, monitoring bouncy house play, conducting beautification efforts by picking up trash, and assisting with station activities. These efforts provided valuable leadership, community service hours, and civic service, building character while opening doors to networking opportunities. We’re doing important work with JAG-CHS!! 🙌🏾

Something big just happened! Our Jobs for America’s Graduates students competed at the annual National Career Development Conference (NCDC), showcasing their career and work-readiness skills. They also built connections with industry leaders, explored diverse careers, and networked with employers. The event’s purpose? To equip young people for success in school, work, and beyond.

One thing about me and my JAG students!? We’ll be galavantin ousside!!! 🤗
Experiences matter and leave a lasting impact! This was during the Fall 2025 JAG semester, to in Frederiksted to tour W. Labiosa: A Retrospective—a traveling exhibit highlighting the late Puerto Rican artist Wilfred Labiosa! Students donated candy for Halloween, prepared treat bags, and participated in an art activity hosted by Kaden Grouby at CMCArts

And of course, some of our JAG-CHS students made the cover photo! The USVI KIDS COUNT summit was such a rewarding experience for us. Not only were our voices heard, but our students had the opportunity to contribute meaningfully—sharing ideas on youth advocacy, education, and community growth. Their passion and insights truly shone, inspiring everyone there. Thank you St. Croix Foundation for Community Development for having us! It was incredible!

We will never be the same. This week, something shifted in St. Croix.

Leaders from across our community came together not just to talk, but to trust, to build, and to move differently.

What we experienced at St. Croix Foundation's KIDS COUNT USVI and Nonprofit Consortium Alliance Summit was powerful, honest, and deeply human.

To every person who showed up with openness, courage, and commitment, thank you. A special to every young leader who joined us for sharing your wisdom and voice!
