The Children's Museum of St. Croix

To date, we have been a “Pop-Up Museum,” setting up at community events as an educational space for children and families.

A 501(c)3 non-profit organization missioned to provide a multi-faceted, interactive, creative space for children and families to discover a variety of learning opportunities inherent in play. Unlike an art museum, one with displays only, or similar “no touch” museums, the Children’s Museum is designed for children to interact with displays and manipulate materials that provide opportunities to exp

lore, create, learn – and have fun. It is our intention to secure funding to build or acquire a permanent home that provides St. Croix with a state-of-the-art children’s museum, even as we continue to provide outreach events. The Children’s Museum not only provides stimulating learning activities for children but also improves the quality of life of the community by offering a place for St. Croix families and visitors to interact and enrich their lives.

Discover the Art of Zentangle! 🌀✏️

Join us for a relaxing and creative journey with Zentangle: Draw, Relax, Create led by Sharon Schenkel.

Through simple patterns and guided drawing techniques, participants will create beautiful artwork while building focus, creativity, and confidence. No artistic experience is needed. Just bring your imagination!

Join The Children’s Museum of St. Croix for Weave & Wonder, a hands-on weaving series in partnership with Theda Sandiford.

This creative program introduces children and teens to the art of weaving through playful, age-appropriate classes. Participants will explore color, texture, and foundational weaving techniques while building fine motor skills, creative confidence, and an appreciation for fiber arts.
