I'm excited to share that Elements, a St. Croix based recovery space rooted in contrast therapy, will be providing two complimentary cold plunges at the finish line party of this years race!

Talk about contrast therapy, after pushing through the rugged terrain in the heat and humidity, take advantage of a reset to restore you body after your effort.

They also have a physical location in Christiansted with access to saunas and cold plunges. Thank you to .stx for providing the opportunity. I've always said Ice is a girls best friend 😉

Reminder: There are always some unavoidable mud puddles on the course. Whether you choose to plow through or tip toe around is up to you but if you happen to slip in, be sure to shake it off and pose like a proper trail badass!

Good news! Our w**d wackers and chainsaws have been buzzing since Thanksgiving and the trail juncture from the blue mountain trail turn off, to the the of The Beast is now ready for local Runners in training.

As you may know the Scenic 50 course is made up of a combination of some road, some single track trails, some jeep trails, and couple connections that don't get a lot of traffic of any form between Scenic races. Each year the bush takes back what is its and around now, a few power houses switch our training from ultra running to ultra trail cutting. Still, don't expect a well groomed golf course, join the young kids fashion sense with some taller socks, and enjoy every second :)

We will be attacking the west side Annaly to the top the crusher next. Let me know if you like to join our Scenic chain gang. It's surprisingly fun, at least when we are having beers afterwards anyway... call it cross training!

I can hardly believe we are just over 6 weeks from race day! But we are only 1 week from the cut off to register while guaranteeing a race shirt of your choice! Shipping to the VI is unreliable at best and Dec 11 is the latest we can wait to ride that line. Register soon to not miss out.
