Highlights from Saturday's snorkel clinic at Southgate Costal Reserve. We explored a sea grass environment and saw sea stars, Christmas worms, parrotfish, crabs, grouper, and a number of juvenile reef fish.

Join us for St. Croix Environmental Association’s May Snorkel Clinic

This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages and all experience levels — whether you’re a total beginner or just dusting off your fins. SEA provides all the gear, trained guides, and a lifeguard, so all you need to bring is your sense of adventure (and your reef-safe sunscreen)!

📅 Saturday, May 16
⏰ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
📍 Southgate Costal Reserve Beach
🔗 Space is limited, advance registration required https://tinyurl.com/freesnorkelclinic

We’ll kick things off with a quick intro to basic snorkeling skills, followed by an easy exploration of the coral and marine life just off the shore. It’s the perfect way to safely introduce your kids to the ocean — or dive back in yourself.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult the entire time.

These clinics are part of our mission to help the community connect with the ocean in a sustainable and meaningful way. Visitors to St. Croix are welcome too!
