A Thank you to the commissioner of the VI department of education for finding the money for the football insurance to allow us to finally start the football season the first week of November.
We appreciate you hearing and addressing this concern!

At the meeting we did some brainstorming and identified several very important key issues we would like to address next with the VI Department of Education.

Most important issues
* eliminating Block schedules
* get more teachers with higher pay in the schools
* all schools need to have a bigger budget to cover all basic repairs.

Other issues to address later
*quality of school lunch
*why is legislature continually cutting department of education budget each year?

Now that what we have collectively identified key issues, we look forward to meeting with the VIDE Commissioner to discuss solutions.
