University Bound Program

University Bound Program offers academic and personal counseling to help students (grades 9-12) make the most of their high school courses and prepare for college. University Bound Program is a college preparatory program from 9-12 graders, which is designed to generate skills and motivation for academic success in high school and beyond it. During the academic year students attend University Bou

nd classes on Saturdays. Students work in small groups or in one-on0one sessions with their instructor.During the summer program, students enjoy a real college experience by living in the University of the Virgin Islands residence halls. During the academic year, students participate in:
-Instruction and tutorial to assist them with their high school course work.
-Study Skill Seminars
-Financial Aid Workshops
-Exam and SAT/ACT Preparation
-Career Planning, Guidance, and Counseling
-Social and Cultural Activites

During the summer residential program, students participate in:
-Academic instruction and study programs
-Group and individual counseling on personal and academic skills and careers
-Social, cultural and recreational activities provide ample opportunity for students to develop interpersonal skills.
-Seminars on colleges, careers, and scholorships, as well as financial aid fairs and retreats.
-An opportunity to participate in a college tour.
