On July 28, our club came together at the Hampton by Hilton to install Tricia and welcome our incoming board.

Tricia steps into this role with a clear vision: a club where every meeting has a purpose, where our young people have a seat at the table through Interact, and where the businesses and nonprofits of St. Thomas are connected to each other in meaningful ways.

What a way to kick off the new Rotary year! 💙💛

A special shout-out to our incredible stylist and barber who chose to spend their Saturday with us at the 5th Annual Foster Family Backpack Giveaway.

For hairstylists and barbers, Saturdays are often the busiest and most valuable day of the week. We are especially grateful to Braids by Né and David Sierra for stepping away from their chairs (and their paying clients) to invest in our youth.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, volunteered, partnered with us, and helped make this event a success. We are incredibly thankful to the stylists who donated gift certificates, helping families in need and giving young people the means to start the school year with confidence.

We are grateful. Thank you for making this first service project of our Rotary year one filled with service, smiles, and new connections.

Here's to a year of making an even greater impact together.

The Rotary Club of Charlotte Amalie is proud to partner with the Foster Family and East End Lumber for a day dedicated to supporting our community and helping students head back to school with confidence.

📅 Saturday, July 25
🕚 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Foster Plaza
🚗 Parking available at Holy Family Church

Our Rotary volunteers, along with talented local barbers and stylists, will be providing FREE haircuts and hair braiding for children attending the event.

Please note: To receive a haircut or braid, children should arrive with clean hair and no hair products.

In addition to free backpacks (distributed at 1:00 PM while supplies last), families can enjoy:
🎒 School supplies
🍔 Food
🎶 Music
🎯 Games & activities
💪 Fitness demonstrations
🦷 Dental health education
…and much more!

Backpacks are first come, first served, and parents must accompany children ages 15 and under.
