🧹✨ A little update from the Humane Society Thrift Store! ✨🧹

Starting June 8, the Humane Society Thrift Store will begin closing on Mondays.

Why the change? Mondays will give our amazing staff and volunteers dedicated time to give the store a good deep clean, organize, and restock the shelves so we can keep bringing you the treasures you love all week long!

This extra day behind the scenes will help us create a cleaner, better-organized shopping experience for our wonderful community and visitors.

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and for shopping with purpose — every purchase helps support the animals at the Humane Society of St. Thomas. ❤️🐾

🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — Humane Society Thrift Store 🐾

Do you enjoy organizing? Setting up displays? Putting away merchandise? Cleaning, merchandising, decorating, or working with people?

Maybe you just love a good thrift store treasure hunt and want to be part of the magic!

Living on a small island means we all depend on one another. We truly believe everyone can find a way to give back to a cause they care about — whether that’s through your time, your talents, your resources, or your support.

Right now, what we need most is people with time and helping hands.

The Humane Society Thrift Store stays busy 7 days a week, and we could really use some happy faces to help greet customers, organize donations, stock shelves, create displays, tidy spaces, and keep the treasure hunt going strong!

You don’t need special experience — just a willingness to help, a positive attitude, and a little bit of your time.

Popped into the Humane Society Thrift Store today to check on the progress of the expansion… and WOW, it is going to be absolutely amazing when it’s complete! 🛠️🩷

We are growing, expanding, and creating even more space for all the incredible treasures that come through our doors. The transformation is already so exciting to see!

Of course, while I was there, I couldn’t help but do a little treasure hunting myself. 👀✨

We recently received a beautiful donation of stunning outdoor light fixtures that would look amazing on a patio, porch, or island home. We also have light bulbs for just $1 each, adorable dresses, ladies clothing, and so many fun little finds throughout the store.

You truly never know what treasure is waiting for you at the Humane Society Thrift Store. Every visit is a new adventure — and every purchase helps support the animals at the Humane Society of St. Thomas. 🐾

Our Humane Society Thrift Store is on the move… or should we say ON THE GROW!!! 🛍️🐾

We are growing by leaps and bounds! From expanding the building, to creating a much-needed high-end boutique area, and even planning for a future furniture space, exciting things are happening at the Humane Society Thrift Store.

But growth like this means we need something even more important… PEOPLE. ❤️

Living on a small island can easily become beach days, sunshine, slowing down, and enjoying island life — and honestly, that’s one of the beautiful parts of living here. But small island communities also depend on each other. We need each other. We support each other. And volunteering is one of the greatest ways to give back to the island we all call home.

Right now, our thrift store is in desperate need of volunteers.

Are you good at:✨ Organizing?✨ Cleaning?✨ Merchandising?✨ Pricing?✨ Working with customers?✨ Or maybe you just want to meet new people and be part of something meaningful?

The thrift store has become such a huge part of our community. Every single day our parking lot is packed with people treasure hunting, shopping, donating, and supporting the homeless animals of St. Thomas through every purchase they make.
