🎬 FEATURED AMERICAN COMPOSER
JOHN WILLIAMS 🇺🇸

You probably know his music. You may not realize just how much of your life he has scored. 😉

John Williams is one of America’s most celebrated composers, and his music has become part of the soundtrack of American culture composing more than 100 film scores.

But before all those unforgettable film scores, Williams was already an accomplished concert composer and pianist. His music for the concert hall includes symphonies, concertos, chamber music and works for orchestra.

🤠 John Williams’ Cowboys Overture was written in 1972 and captures the energy, excitement and wide-open spirit of the American West.

🤠 About The Cowboys film
Starring John Wayne, The Cowboys follows a tough rancher who recruits a group of schoolboys to help drive a massive cattle herd across the frontier after his adult trail hands leave for the gold rush. Along the way, the boys face danger, hardship, and the challenges of growing up on the trail.

Hear Williams' Cowboys Overture based on the film score LIVE as we open our new season on Saturday, September 26 at 7 pm.

When those first notes of Cowboys Overture ring out, listen for the cinematic sounds of the West—but remember: John Williams was a composer long before he became the man behind some of Hollywood’s most recognizable music.

🎟️ Book your ticket and join us as we explore the Wild West American Landscape through music🤠🎶
