CAMPO

Our Mission:

CAMPO is dedicated to fostering creativity. What is CAMPO? CAMPO is a pioneering social enterprise in the Americas.

CAMPO is a creative institute that supports international artists and cross-cultural collaboration by providing residencies for committed visual, literary, musical, digital and culinary talents from around the globe in a unique rural setting in Uruguay. Its mission is to host residencies for an array of committed artistic, literary and culinary talents from around the globe in a unique rural setting in Uruguay. CAMPO offers uninterrupted time and space for personal work and serves as a platform for inspiring international exchange that includes both locals and art-world outsiders. An American and Uruguayan nonprofit organization (U.S. 501c3 and UY fundación), CAMPO is built on an innovative model that weaves together a top-notch artist residency program, a collaborative food lab and a modern lodge:
CAMPO AIR (artist in residence), Canteen + Cabins.
