On Sunday, September 20th, the Zumbrota State Theatre, will host a double feature to show both the initial film (“His Neighbor Phil”) and the final edited version (“A Timeless Love”).

Summer is in full swing and History Detectives (ages 14 & under) have one month left to explore local history and collect stamps at 5 museums around Goodhue County! Visit GCHS, Goodhue Area History Museum, Pine Island Area Historical Society, Kenyon Area Historical Society at the Gunderson House, and Zumbrota Area History Center to receive a special stamp. Then turn in your booklet at GCHS for a small prize and a drawing entry for two free tickets to an upcoming show at the Sheldon Theatre! The winner will be chosen in early September. Happy sleuthing!

Shazam! National Superhero Day is April 28th. Get your C.C. Beck/Captain Marvel/Shazam Badge today. C. C. Beck was a native of Zumbrota. Our commemorative insignia features Captain Marvel today known as Shazam leaping over the Zumbrota Covered Bridge.
