🌱 THANK YOU FOR JOINING US TODAY! 🌱

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out today for our Citrus-to-Carbon Live Demonstration in Wauchula! We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to learn more about biochar, sustainable agriculture, and turning Florida’s agricultural biomass into a valuable resource.

It was exciting to demonstrate the Tigercat 6040 Carbonizer in action and show how dead and dying citrus trees can be transformed into biochar right here on site. We hope everyone walked away with a better understanding of how biochar can benefit Florida’s farmers, our soils, and our environment.

A special thank-you to our partners and supporters who helped make today possible β€” Ideas For Us, Biotech Applied Research, the Florida Biochar Project, Hardee County, UF/IFAS Extension, VoLo Foundation, and Florida Climate Weekβ„’.

And of course, thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared ideas, and took home some BAR Biochar!

This is just the beginning. Together, we can turn agricultural waste into an opportunity for Florida’s future. πŸŒŽπŸ’š

Privilege to have the opportunity to speak with Florida Certified Organic Growers and Consumers on their FRESH TAKE podcast 🍊

Florida's citrus industry has faced significant challenges in recent years, but innovation continues to create new opportunities for farmers and the land.

In the latest episode of Fresh Take, Juan Carlos Rodriguez sits down with Zack Farr, a third-generation Florida citrus grower and CEO of Biotech Applied Research, to explore how biochar is helping turn agricultural waste into a resource for healthier soils, improved water retention, and more resilient farming systems.

From the realities of citrus greening to the promise of regenerative agriculture, Zack shares insights from both the grove and the research field on what it takes to build a stronger future for Florida agriculture.

We are 6 days away from our first LIVE Citrus-to-Carbon demonstration 😁😁

Some of the things that'll be taking place:

- WITNESS our Tigercat 6040 Carbonizer convert up to 1 acre of citrus trees per hour into biochar

- LOOK at what biochar looks like at the microscopic level and learn about its benefits with the help from the UF/IFAS Hardee County Extension Service

- UNDERSTAND what the state-funded Florida Biochar Project has to offer for Hardee County, and why IDEAS For Us pursued this initiative for our community

- LEARN how to apply biochar in different agricultural settings with different equipment

- EAT some great grub provided by Juniper Food Truck

- TAKE home a free BAR Biochar Bucket

- SHARE the good news! We hope to see you all out there and appreciate everyone's support.

*DISCLAIMER*: This event will be held in a citrus grove, so please wear closed toed shoes and dress for the occasion.

🚨 We're going LIVE TODAY at 12:00 PM ET! 🚨

If you've ever wondered what happens to tree debris after a land clearing project, or what biochar actually is, this is for you.

Join us live from the job site as we take you inside Florida's first fully mobile Tigercat 6040 biomass-to-biochar operation.

We'll be showing:
🌲 The biomass feedstock we use
βš™οΈ The carbonization process from start to finish
πŸͺ¨ What finished BAR Biochar looks like
🌱 How it's being used in agriculture, landscaping, water filtration, and environmental restoration
πŸ“£ Plus... we've got a very special announcement to share.

This isn't a studio production. It's real equipment, real biomass, and real solutions happening right here in Florida.

πŸŽ₯ Join us LIVE at 12:00 PM ET
https://youtube.com/live/8rPjUashHcg?feature=share

We'd love to have you there. Feel free to share this with anyone interested in forestry, farming, land management, sustainability, or biochar.

πŸ˜‚ We might have made this delivery just a little harder than it needed to be...

Making BAR Biochar is one challenge.

Getting it to customers is another.

Today's delivery to Ridge Florist in Sebring gave us a good laugh, but it also highlights why we're building a network of local BAR Biochar distributors throughout Florida!!

A huge thank you to Buzzy at Ridge Florist for helping make BAR Biochar available to the local community.

If you own a:
🌱 Nursery
🌳 Garden Center
🚜 Farm Supply Store
🌿 Landscape Supply Yard
..and would like to carry BAR Biochar at wholesale pricing, we'd love to hear from you!!!

Our mission isn't just to make biochar.

It's to make it easy for people to buy it locally.

Thanks again, Buzzy! We appreciate your support and look forward to helping more Florida communities get access to BAR Biochar.

Every year, millions of tons of woody biomass are openly burned or left to decompose. While these practices are common, they're not the only option!!

BAR is creating another path.

We're demonstrating how wood waste can be converted into biochar- a stable form of organic carbon (OMRI Certified in BAR's case) that can improve soil health, support water filtration, and store carbon for generations

The goal isn't simply to dispose of biomass. We just so happen to do it in a far more superior , economical, and sustainable way ...

The goal is to create value from waste while supporting healthier landscapes, healthier humans, and stronger circular economies.

What if wood waste wasn't viewed as waste at all?

No better time to consider incorporating biochar into your current lawn, ag, or family initiatives! Hope this video highlights how simple it can be to maximize plant production, increase water retention, and reduce nutrient leaching. Please share and help us spread the word that BAR Biochar is creating positive change for Florida 🌱
