Heart of the Mountain Heart of the Mountain is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving people with chronic illness through horse-partnered healing.

Our Mission: To awaken in each individual an awareness of a creative power within which holds unlimited possibilities. At Heart of the Mountain, our work involves a unique process where we partner with horses, whose innate wisdom brings forth an amazing capacity to heal. This distinctive way of co-active coaching guides the client through emotional pain (fear, anger, resentment, depression, confus

ion, grief, etc.), trauma, and life transitions, leading them to greater self-awareness, self-esteem, acceptance, and inner peace. The horse-human relationship reaches far into our psyches and hearts, creating experiences which lead to deep and long-lasting change, described by many clients as profound, life-affirming and even miraculous.
