A big thank you to ZCHS Baseball Head Coach Jered Moore, coaches Tony Cookerly and Eli Kopner for joining ZBC President and ZCHS Baseball Coach Drew Koning at our 2026–2027 Player Parent Kickoff Meeting today at the new Varsity Eagles Complex! 🙌🏼🦅

These coaches shared great insight into Zionsville baseball, what the journey can look like as our players grow, and—most importantly—the importance of community, sportsmanship, development, and a love for the game during the youth years.

11U Green with a strong finish to a strong season! 💪🏽🦅⚾️

ZBC 11U Green closed out their 2026 season at Shipyard Park in South Carolina. The Eagles went 3-2 on the weekend, finishing the year with an impressive 24-14 record. 🌊🚢⚾️😎

The boys battled all tournament long, showcasing timely hitting, strong pitching, and solid defense. They picked up three convincing wins, including a shutout and a combined no-hitter, while competing against quality teams from all over the country throughout the weekend.

Every game saw different players step up, highlighting the depth and balance that defined this team all season. Can’t wait to see what awaits for 12U!

Sometimes baseball doesn’t give you the easiest road - especially at a place like Cooperstown Dreams Park. 🇺🇸⚾️

Our ZBC 12U Black boys traveled to Cooperstown to compete against teams from all over the country, only to find out their pool play would be against the #9, #13, and #29 seeded teams. Whew!

But here’s the thing… these boys never stopped smiling. They never stopped cheering each other on. They soaked up every moment of playing on one of the most iconic youth baseball stages in America, making friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Wins and losses will fade, but this week won’t. The laughs in the bunkhouses, trading pins, walking into Opening Ceremonies, playing against teams from across the country, and representing ZBC with heart and class—that’s what Cooperstown is really about.❤️💙

So proud of this group of players, coaches, and families. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn’t tell the whole story. This team has already won where it matters most.

Keep smiling, boys. The memories you’re making are bigger than baseball. ⚾💚🤍

ZBC 12U Green's incredible run at Cooperstown Dreams Park came to an end, finishing among the top 32 of 104 teams after an outstanding week of baseball! 🙌🏼😎

The highlight was an unforgettable 24-16 win as part of the Top 64 to advance, with a comeback victory after trailing 11-1 through two innings. It was the kind of game that reminds everyone why they love baseball. After the final out, the umpires told the team it was the most fun game they'd been a part of in more than 10 years at Cooperstown!

By week's end, the boys accomplishments spoke for themselves-

⚾ Top 32 of 140 teams
🏆 Three bracket play victories
💣 24 home runs
👏 Four players hit their first-ever over-the-fence home run!

But the memories go far beyond the numbers. From Opening Ceremonies to walk-off moments, bucket-list home run celebrations, and lifelong friendships, this was a week these players, coaches, and families will never forget.

Congratulations, boys, on an incredible Cooperstown run and an amazing way to close out your ZBC careers. 🇺🇸❤️💙🦅

Runner-Up in the Silver Bracket! 🥈

Congratulations to ZBC 11U Black on an outstanding run at the Field of Dreams Championship, finishing as Silver Bracket Runner-Up!

The championship game was one for the books, with the boys battling until the very end before falling 10-9 in a hard-fought finish.

This team has grown tremendously over the course of the season—not just as baseball players, but as teammates. Their resilience, determination, and willingness to keep competing every inning have been fun to watch, and we're incredibly proud of the progress they've made.

Way to represent ZBC all weekend long. Keep building, boys—the future is bright! 💚⚾
