Last night, the Boone County Professional Firefighters Association Local 5195 met for their regular General Membership Meeting. On the agenda was a special presentation to the Whitestown District for the accomplishment of 100% Union Membership. Framed certificates from the IAFF will be proudly displayed at both Firehouse 271, and 272. Congratulations! Today the Boone County Professional Firefighters Association Local 5195 recognize our Boone County Sheriff’s Office 911 Telecommunication Dispatchers. Our Dispatchers are the first to assist the residents of Boone County at their time of need. Your professional, selfless spirit and calming voice sets the stage for a positive outcome on someone’s worst day.
