☀️ Summer staff training is officially underway!

Today we kicked things off with an all-staff meeting, bringing together team members from all three Boys & Girls Club of Boone County locations.

A huge thank you to ULEAD for starting our day with an amazing course focused on leadership and growth, and to the Zionsville Fire Department for leading our First Aid and CPR certification training.

We are grateful for the knowledge, support, and time shared today as our team prepares for a safe, fun, and impactful summer with our Club kids! 💙

🏆 Volunteer of the Year 🏆

We are proud to recognize Bill Ensign of Eli Lilly and Company as our Volunteer of the Year for his incredible leadership, dedication, and tireless work helping bring our new Esports Center to life! 🎮💙

This was not a simple one-day project — it was a massive undertaking that required countless hours, multiple work days, coordination, problem-solving, and an incredible amount of hands-on effort. From painting and flooring to setup, organization, and transforming the overall space, Bill played a major role every step of the way while leading teams of Lilly volunteers through this long and detailed project.

What started as an empty space has now become an exciting environment where our members can connect, compete, learn, and grow — and that transformation would not have been possible without Bill’s commitment and leadership.

Thank you, Bill, for the lasting impact you’ve made on the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County and the kids we serve. 🙌

Big thanks to Eric Richards for his leadership over the past three years as CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Boone County.

Eric will be stepping into a new role leading the Heroes Foundation, and we’re grateful for all he’s done for our Club and community.

As we look ahead, our focus stays on the kids and families we serve every day. More to come as we begin the search for our next CEO.
