We had a great meeting this morning with Candace Ulmer from the Zionsville Cultural District. ZCD is committed to promoting all of Zionsville's diverse art, culture, history, and community assets, and we enjoyed learning about future plans.

We were excited to welcome the Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN) as our guests this morning. Samantha, Lori, and Drift shared ICAN's mission of advocating for independence and opportunity by facilitating partnerships between people and dogs to unleash possibilities. As the only organization accredited by Assistance Dog International in Indiana, ICAN works to place service dogs with individuals living with disabilities, primarily focusing on mobility assistance, psychiatric service, and facility placements.

May was busy and rewarding! We partnered with Zionsville Community High School for the Strong in Every Breakfast, awarded our Rotary Senior Scholarship to Averie LeBlanc, and served the community at the Zionsville Food Pantry.

Thank you to ZCS Superintendent Dr. Rebecca Coffman for spending time with us during our morning meeting today. We appreciated hearing about initiatives in the schools and challenges on the horizon.

We enjoyed hearing from Mindy Murdock with Zionsville Parks and Recreation. She shared information about programs for community members of all ages and the creative measures they are taking to engage in continued funding for important programming.

What an incredible event to again be a part of and sponsor this year’s ZCS ‘Do-Days’ - an annual community service initiative through Zionsville Community Schools!!
We packed over 14,000 meals in about an hour thanks to the 100+ volunteers who all made it happen! These meals go directly to families in need in Central Indiana. Thank you to all who volunteered!!

We had a great meeting this morning with speaker Mary Brabson from The Learning Network of Boone County (https://lnobc.org/), and we welcomed new member, Morgan!

Tomorrow night, we team up with Zionsville Community Schools as the financial sponsor for their ZCS Do Days event with Million Meal Movement. We are proud to support our community in this way.
