The Official page of Zionsville's Troop 358. Troop 358 Established September, 10, 1923. We are Troop 358 of Zionsville, Indiana.

We are a very active Boy Scout troop providing a wide range of activities for every Scout. Offering each boy a path to personal growth and leadership through the Scouting Traditions: Building Character, Fostering Citizenship and Experiencing a program of fun outdoor activities.

Today, Troop 358 went down for our annual tradition of setting up chairs for the Indy 500 parade. It turned out to be a great day. The kids always set up chairs, and then head to the Rocket Fizz Candy shop and Enzo Pizza place before watching the parade.

Congratulations to the newest Arrowmen, William and Scott for passing their Ordeal. And congratulations also to our newest Brotherhood members, Grayson and Joseph in The Order of the Arrow. The OA is about Brotherhood through Cheerful Service, and these Arrowmen all exemplify this.

Tonight Scouts from the Troop had an opportunity to get into the record books by being a part of the World's Largest Gaga Ball Game for the Guiness Record of 585 participants, crushing the old record by over 100 people. And the last one standing to win the game was one of our own scouts! Well done Oliver!

We also had a Scout there trying to raise money for his Eagle Project!

Hello, I am Jonathan Brooks, a Scout in Troop 358 , and a staff member of the R.O.C.K. program at the Zionsville United Methodist Church. I am raising money on behalf of the church for my Eagle Scout project to replace the old gagaball pit with a brand new one. I chose this project because I attended the R.O.C.K. program, now work there, and playing gagaball has always been one of the most enjoyable parts of the program. The new gagaball pit will be available for all to use. My goal is $4500 for the new gaga ball pit, removal of the old pit, and for landscaping. Ethan successfully passed his Eagle Board of Review on Thursday, March 19th.

Ethan spoke to the board about his scouting journey and his Eagle project — building two American Flag Retirement boxes, meticulously painted with a patriotic theme, and donating them to clubhouses in the Plainfield and Westfield Del Webb retirement communities. The board was particularly impressed with Ethan's stick-to-itiveness — his ability to see a long, demanding process through to the end. That quality says a lot about who he is and will serve him well beyond Scouting.
