Introducing our Self-Advocate Spotlight! 🌟
We’re highlighting a self-advocate from ILADD to share a little more about who they are!

This week, meet Noah! He’s been part of ILADD for a year, and Game Night is his favorite program.
Noah has some great advice for anyone thinking about joining ILADD! He says, “It’s a great place to make new friends, and they have lots of programs or clubs to choose from.”

This month’s ILADD Hiking Club is exploring a brand new trail! 🌲 We’re heading to the Tall Timbers Trail at Big Walnut Creek Nature Preserve
This moderate 2.8 mile trail winds through old growth forest, across a few small streams in the ravines, and offers views of Big Walnut Creek
This will be a great hike to see the fall colors! 🍂

📅 Sunday, October 18
🕐 1:00 PM — The hike will last about 2 hours
📍 Tall Timbers Trail, Big Walnut Creek Nature Preserve (Putnam County)
📝 Registration is required

This hike is for adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities who can walk 2-3+ miles over hills and uneven, unpaved ground. Bring your own water bottle, and pack a change of shoes and socks just in case it’s muddy from rain. Expect cooler, mostly sunny weather, and dress in layers!
Since it’s a nature preserve, there are no restroom facilities on-site, so plan ahead. If we need to postpone due to weather, we’ll reach out by phone or email at least two hours before the hike. Register to join us on this fall adventure! https://form.jotform.com/260084839210151
