It was a bittersweet evening at our recent ZCM graduation ceremony, as we honored long-term faculty member Mrs. Connie Allen, on her retirement. Connie taught many, many students at ZCM over the years (are you one of them?) and her talent and input on our staff will be missed! Thank you Connie for your devotion to music and to giving your students the gift of a music education!

We're proud of Gabrielle, ZCM Piano student of Mrs. Donna Poucher, who recently placed 11th in International Competition with her performance of an arrangement of "Take My Life and Let it Be". Congratulations, Gabby!

As our school year is winding down with exams and graduation just around the corner, our faith-based music school is looking at our future needs and would love to find new teachers in piano, violin, guitar and woodwinds. Our current faculty have full studios and we haven't been able to take on any more students. Would you or anyone you know be interested in your own studio with us? For 117 years, we have offered music instruction for students of all ages and interest levels. For our staff, we offer a structured curriculum, performance opportunities for students and a facility where you can have your own classroom. Students of all ages for years have gained tremendous benefits from learning to play instruments, joining voices with others in choirs, and the discipline of regular practice. We have students who grow up to receive scholarships to universities, play in symphonies, orchestras, and sing in operas.
