Zephyrhills, I want to address something openly.

This isn’t a defense of my life — it’s a declaration that I’m not afraid to live in the light.

For many years people have slandered my name.

There were times it made it hard to even walk into certain places.
In some of the environments I witness in, the things being said about me could have gotten me hurt very badly.

Because of that, I’ve made a decision.

I choose to live transparent, honest, and as an open book.

Nothing about my past is hidden.

If anyone ever has a question about who I am, what I’ve done, or what they’ve heard — I will meet with you face to face and talk about it.

No rumors.
No whispers.
Just truth.

I also have no problem being corrected if I am not living the way I should in the Kingdom of God.

Do I walk on water?
No.

Have I arrived?
Not even close.

I am far from the man God ultimately wants me to be.

But I am striving every day to become more like Him.

People can talk about who I used to be, but grace is still writing the story of who I’m becoming.

If you want to know who I am today, come see me on Sunday serving meals and loving people at Food and Fellowship. That’s where my life speaks the loudest.

Every Sunday we gather for Food and Fellowship at Shepard’s Park.

This is more than a meal.
It is a place where people come together to pray, share gratitude, listen to music, and build community.

What happens each week:

• Set up and fellowship
• Prayer requests and thanksgiving
• Prayer over the food
• Hot meal served
• Live music
• Short devotional message
• To-go plates served starting at 4 PM until food is gone

Zephyrhills, we need to talk.

For years we’ve all watched the changes in our town. Some people are doing well, but others are quietly struggling more than anyone realizes.

There are people right here in our community who are skipping meals, living in their cars, or trying to stretch a few dollars just to get through the week.

And most of the time… nobody sees it.

Since 2016, Food and Fellowship has been doing something simple about it.

We cook food.
We show up.
We sit down with people.
And we remind them they’re not invisible.

During COVID we were out there six days a week from 8 in the morning until 5 in the evening making sure people had something to eat when the world felt like it was falling apart.

Today we’re still there.

Every Sunday from 3–5 PM at Shepard’s Park we serve a community meal where anyone can come sit down, eat, talk, and be treated with dignity.

No judgment.
No questions asked.
Just people helping people.

This work has now reached more than 10,000 hours of community service in Zephyrhills.

But the truth is we can’t do it alone.

If you’ve ever wanted to help your community in a real way, this is your chance.

We’re looking for:

• Volunteers
• Food donations
• Local businesses willing to sponsor meals
• People who simply care about their neighbors

You don’t have to change the whole world.

Sometimes all it takes is one meal and one conversation to change someone’s day.

Since 2016 this grassroots outreach has contributed over 10,000 hours of service helping neighbors in need.

Sunday was a very busy day at our outreach. We had a un-named donor provide a great dinner from Publix and Publix provided us free drinks and a great discount on the food.

We where people short so I was not able to provide the pictures I wanted to take also forgetting about them until near the end due to how busy we where.

We had enough food for everyone and no one went away hungry.

Thank you everyone for your hard work , the donations and the people that showed up to get the food .

It was a great day.

I have not posted in a while on our group page but I have seen often that people are asking for support with food and we are not mentioned for whatever reason, this truly brakes my heart since we are one of the few outreaches that gives out a hot meal on Sunday.

We are one of the few that are ran off what the community has given us.

We are not funded by any grants we are community based and have been from the start.

We feel what is going on in our community we as a community should support together to overcome .

We believe in the hand up and not the hand out approach.

The food we provide is a tool to see how we can support people to overcome.

There has been times I have a voice that people have not agreed on because I speak to the community and our local churches to stop tuning on a issue we have in our community that is not going away no matter how much we don't see it.

There are times I have had a voice in the church community, city meetings and other county meetings that have rubbed people the wrong way because I've been displaced on these streets in our town, I've been a drug addict, I've gotten high wishing I could die, I've been transported to the edge of town and told not to come back, I've had urine thrown at me and had no way to wash my clothes.

By walk in these shoes I know what its like to live without a home, to overcome addiction and to fight the fight daily to live a sober life.

I may rub people wrong because I see the people on our streets is a community issue and by not seeing we need a safe place for people to lay their head has only made more problems here in our community.

Pushing the problem to another city or on the other side of Pasco is not doing anything for us to deal with here.

I will voice out and be there for the people in our community when many just over look them .

They are people and I have lost many nights of sleep and shed many tears over the people that have lost their live over the last 8 years .

We have not gone away and if anyone wants to see truly what we do we are at Shepherds Park every Sunday from 3 to 5pm .

My name is Lawrence and I will be happy to talk to you about how we as a community can work together to do what so many here want to see happen.

Get the people off our streets and find a safe place for them to go.

When we release we have a issue in our community then we together can overcome it .

Until then we will continue to kick the can many don't want to pick up.

Food and fellowship is set up at Healing hearts cafe today through Saturday from 11 to 1 pm handing out lunch to anyone in need, in the parking lot.

I'm putting a call out for our local area.

Healing hearts cafe is going to be closed from the day after Christmas until the 2nd of January.

Us at Food and Fellowship don't mind setting up and giving the food out but we truly don't have the funds,the food or the location to do this in.

We normally set up at Shepherds Park on Sunday only we have stopped setting up 6 days a week due to most of our people went to Healing hearts cafe.

If we don't step up and provide this for the local people in need they will go without.

Please let me know if someone can support this need in any way.

This was a response to who we are at Food and Fellowship and its to good not to post here...
If people are honest or not God leads them to us for a reason and being lead by God our job is to tend to the sheep not and to make sure the wolves get fed to because fed wolves become watch dogs.

We don't pick and choose who comes to us we love them to Jesus.

If they take advantage thats something they have to deal with not us.

God deals with them in His own way.

We can't do that work for Him .

He called us to love and guide them.

That's why we are doing the work we are doing and not to many churches are not because the people that we run into have been the outcast, the pushed away, the hurt ,the overlooked and the people trespassed from a place that is telling them to come home no matter what.

Come home we don't care how you look.

Come home we don't care how you smell.

Come home we don't care about your issues and when they do they get pushed away.

Our Job is not to push people away but to support people through their issues and love them to Jesus.

A big task no one wants to do but its a task we are called to do.

With talking to a few people and since many people are cooking Thanksgiving meals already.

I thought I would ask if I could find 200 families, local establishments , churches or programs that would put together a uncooked Thanksgiving meal in a box.

But a note and some love together for a family.

We would give you the families name and a place for you to meet them and you could give them the box or we could drop it off.

Its a idea.
