🎥 Huge thank you to Tony Herrin for capturing this awesome footage from our recent dive!

This mission the team removed 3 more anchors, 2 paint cans, and the usual collection of debris that doesn't belong in Lake Tahoe—sunglasses, v**e pods, beer cans, fishing lures, and plenty of smelly rope. Remove the new trash, and be sure to leave anything historical.

Every dive is made possible by dedicated volunteers like Tony and War KL , whose enthusiasm, hard work, and passion for protecting the lake make a real difference. Thank you for bringing your energy and excitement to every mission.

And the best part? Summer has only just begun. 🌊♻️

Join us May 1st for our Roots for the Depths benefit event featuring Coloso

Roots for the Depths is a fundraiser celebrating the roots reggae sounds of COLOSO (Collection of Lone Souljahs), bringing the community together in support of Restoring the Lake Depths. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to keeping Lake Tahoe clean for generations to come. We’ve joined forces with the Crystal Bay Casino to host this special evening where music, community, and a shared love for the lake all come together.

This is your daily reminder that protecting our waters from pollutants like oil runoff, microplastics, and aquatic invasive species is crucial for maintaining our precious ecosystems. With recent reports highlighting the continued degradation of Lake Tahoe’s water clarity and quality, a little reminder can go a long way.

Local wildlife depend on these waters for more than just a day out on the lake- to them, it is their everything. Preserving our waters means preserving the species that have inhabited them for hundreds and thousands of years.

As we step into this year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what an incredible journey it’s been 🌊💙

This new year, we’re setting our sights even higher. Our ROV program has some exciting goals and projects in the works, and we can’t wait to share what we’re building next — deeper surveys, expanded cleanup efforts, and new ways to protect and understand our waters.

We wrapped up the holiday season with full hearts 🎁✨

Our toy drive was a great success, and we couldn’t be more proud of our incredible team and the amazing families who support us through it all.

This year showed us what’s possible—and next year, we’re aiming even further. New areas, bigger reach, and even more impact. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

As the year comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back with full hearts and muddy gloves. This year was one for the books!
