If you're a fan of great fiction, consider coming to check out ZAPL's very own Sci-Fi and Fantasy book club: Dynasties and Dystopians. Meetings are typically the 2nd Friday of the Month and each month we switch between a new sci-fi or fantasy title, so come join us!

Community Voting for the Shutterbug Showdown Photo Contest starts today.
Stop by the Zelienople Area Public Library to support not only our local library, but also your neighbor’s entries, during library hours: Mon-Thurs 10-7, Fri 10-6, Sat 10-5. Community voting will be held from August 29th-September 9th.
Each library cardholder will be given two (2) complimentary vote tickets. Additional tickets are available—two (2) for each $1.00 donation.

The deadline to submit photos for the 2026 Shutterbug Showdown Photo Contest as been extended through Friday August 28. So if you haven't had a chance to make it to the Library or were still debating which photos to submit you now have a few more days. Voting begins August 29.

Join us Saturday September 12 at 11 am for a journaling/bookbinding session. A community volunteer will be leading the class and preparing the materials. We are asking that each attendee give $5 toward supply costs. This is a program for adults and teens. There is a limited number of spaces available so please reserve your spot by calling the Library at 724-452-9330 or email [email protected]

The Library is once again a drop-off location for the "Bundle Up Butler" winter clothing drive of the Center for Community Resources. You can place your donations of new or gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens in the collection box near the front desk between now and October 1.
