Living Threads Ministry Check out our video to learn more about us on our website at www.livingthreadsministry.org.

Our Mission Statement is "To share the love of Jesus by providing a purposeful community for our volunteers and to meet the physical and spiritual needs of impoverished children." Living Threads Ministry serves both the families who come to have quilts made in memory of loved ones who have died and to the children of the Kibera Slum in Nairobi, Kenya. 100% of the money received as donations from clients for making their memory quilts goes to help underwrite nine "Bible Clubs" which provide food, safety, a loving environment and the gospel to children in the Kibera slum of Kenya, Africa.

Calvary Hope Bible Club in Kibera opened just one year ago and already has 150 - 200 children attending weekly. Pictured are the two cooks who make delicious hot meals for the children who meet in this club. The girls are wearing the dresses made by Living Threads volunteers. Just look at their smiles and delight of wearing a new dress of their very own!

Earlier this week, Living Threads celebrated it's 16th birthday on September 8, 2026. Executive Director and Founder of Living Threads is pictured with a yummy treat. Our volunteers were busy in the sewing rooms creating cozy quilts for impoverished children in the slums of Kibera. One of our dedicated volunteers even dressed to match her project! Where's Lori? Can you find her?
